[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I love short names that are not vowel heavy. If you saw these names on paper as siblings what gender would you automatically assume they are?
I’d guess boy and girl. 10 years ago I’d have said boy for [name_m]Rowen[/name_m], and even though I wouldn’t be surprised to meet one of any gender, nowadays I’d guess girl.
Both boys. I just automatically think of [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] as a boy’s name!
I would assume boys!
I would assume a boy and a girl!
I know [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] is more popular for boys but it’s always felt more feminine to me (also, it’s my top girl name!), plus the alternative [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] spelling makes it lean girl to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] was a boy though
I would assume they are two boys.
Boys, especially if I saw the Ro-WEN spelling. But at the same time, I know a super nice elderly woman named [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] which I always thought was a surprisingly modern spin on the name. So it wouldn’t be too weird if they were masculine girls names.
I would assume they are both boys, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] was a girl.
I would assume [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] is a boy, and [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] could really be either.
Thanks for all the feed back. I would definitely pair it with a masculine middle. i was think of going with [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] [name_m]Luke[/name_m], i like [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_m]Walker[/name_m] but it sounds to much like a country singer, so i need ideas…
I’d assume 2 boys
[name_f]My[/name_f] first instinct says 2 boys, even though I myself have [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] down as a girls name. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out that [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] was a girl though!
[name_m]Boy[/name_m] and girl, but wouldn’t be surprised if they were brothers
Both names are lovely! [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] is one of my favorite boys’ names; I would assume boy for both, even though I know [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] is rising as an option for girls too.
Both boys.
I’d assume both were boys.
[name_f]My[/name_f] mind only thinks of [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] as a boys name. With [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] I would first think boy but I would not be shocked if it was for a girl though
I like [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] [name_m]Luke[/name_m]! How about [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] [name_m]Luke[/name_m] & [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m]? [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_m]Wallace[/name_m]?
Other middles for [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]:
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] (sounds great with Rhett!)
[name_m]Anders[/name_m]
[name_m]Anthony[/name_m]
[name_m]Alistair[/name_m] /Alasdair
[name_m]Sullivan[/name_m]
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m] (nice with [name_m]Rowen[/name_m] Luke)
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m]
[name_m]Colton[/name_m] (too country?)
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_m]Nathan[/name_m]
I’d think they are both boys!
Both boys
