Rhett as a nickname

I love the name [name]Rhett[/name] but our last name is Roades…so it kind of sounds like scooby doo when
you say it together. Could I use a name such as [name]Everett[/name] and use the nickname [name]Rhett[/name]? Are there
other names that [name]Rhett[/name] could be the nickname of?

I like [name]Garrett[/name] and [name]Everett[/name], but Truett would work too.

Ooooh, I think [name]Everett[/name] ‘[name]Rhett[/name]’ Roades sounds very handsome! (Sorry, I have no other -rett names besides ones that have been mentioned)

I was also going to suggest [name]Garrett[/name] and [name]Everett[/name].

Other possibilities:
[name]Brett[/name] – in this case, you would probably just stick with [name]Brett[/name] and not use [name]Rhett[/name]
[name]Remington[/name] – although you have the alliteration problem here if that bothers you

[name]Just[/name] to add to the list, I have a little great-nephew named [name]Jarrett[/name].
