I like [name_f]Rhia[/name_f] a lot! I used to be friends with one and recall that she loved her name. She may influence my perception of the name, but I find it to be fun, spunky, and sparkly. [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] is the more common spelling, but I like [name_f]Rhia[/name_f] as well and think it definitely works.

Wouldn’t have consciously known about it but for the supreme (and criminally under recognised ;)) acting of [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] Seehorn on Better Call [name_m]Saul[/name_m]. I prefer the [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] spelling unless you’re going for Rhy-a. Am still not entirely sold on the name - maybe something puerile like “diarrhoea” in the way - but I can see it’s a confident, sophisticated and international-sounding name.

[name_f]Rhia[/name_f] sounds pretty!

It does remind me a tad of the ostrich-type bird called a “rhea”, but that’s not a big deal, since the wonderful connection to [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] from classical mythology more than compensates.

As an alternative, maybe [name_f]Ria[/name_f]? I like its simple, sleek spelling, and the “river” meaning is nice!

[name_f]Rhia[/name_f]- to me is pronounced Ree-a ; shortened form of [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f].

[name_f]Rhea[/name_f] - to me is pronounced [name_u]Ray[/name_u].

[name_f]Rhia[/name_f] is sweet.

Not my preferred spelling but it’s a lovely name. [name_f]My[/name_f] childhood best friend’s sister was called this, albeit different spelling, and the name always reminds me of her.
