What do you think of [name_u]Riley[/name_u] for a girl? Heard it the other day and both my wife and I kinda had one of those “ahh I really like that name!” Moments… so it’s our top contender at the moment for a girl (TTC).
It was spelled [name_u]Rhylee[/name_u] which is thought was pretty cool- but I’ve realized it can be spelled all kinds of ways which I know isn’t everyone’s style! But so far I’ve found [name_u]Rylie[/name_u]/Riley/Rayleigh/Rhylee/ [name_f]Raylee[/name_f]/ which looks the best? Is [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u] an ok sibset?
I think [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is the best spelling. It’s the most popular one. [name_u]Rhylee[/name_u] would get misspelled almost every time, unfortunately. I like [name_u]Riley[/name_u] on all genders! It goes well with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]
Riley has a spunky and fun feel! I really like it. Not a fan of the [name_u]Rhylee[/name_u] spelling though, it looks unnecessarily complicated to me tbh. [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] & [name_u]Riley[/name_u] work nicely
Riley is really sweet, and I think it fits perfectly with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]! [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is definitely my favorite spelling, although I also like [name_u]Rylie[/name_u] from the choices you listed. [name_f]Rayleigh[/name_f] and [name_f]Raylee[/name_f] would both be RAY-lee to me (different pronunciation), and [name_u]Rhylee[/name_u] seems a little bit confusing with the “h” ([name_u]Rylee[/name_u] could be another option?). You should definitely go with what you most prefer though!
Reilly is my preferred spelling for it - it looks softer whereas [name_u]Riley[/name_u] looks harsher. I would not go with the [name_u]Rhylee[/name_u] spelling because I agree it would be misspelled constantly.
I prefer the [name_u]Riley[/name_u] spelling for girls (the [name_u]Reilly[/name_u] spelling is my favorite for boys but [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is still nice too), and have met a few girls with the name over the years. I have a (female) friend named [name_u]Rylee[/name_u], which I also like, and I’ve encountered a [name_u]Rylie[/name_u] which I think is also nice. To me this is one of those “truly unisex” names and I think [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is a perfectly good sibset!!
I think [name_u]Rylie[/name_u] is the spelling more associated was the girl spelling?? I could be wrong . However I prefer [name_u]Riley[/name_u] for a girl, I also think it’d be a lot easier to spell and you won’t have to correct people on the spelling .
I love [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u] together! They both sound like very strong and gorgeous names yet they seem to balance each other out nicely .
I love [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u]! I think I prefer the [name_u]Rylie[/name_u] spelling for girls, because I know a lot of boys with the name spelled [name_u]Riley[/name_u].
I am definitely biased because it is my sisters name, but I love it! I definitely prefer spelling it as [name_u]Riley[/name_u]. It sounds great with [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]!
My sister’s friend just named her daughter [name_f]Ryleigh[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and we all wish she would have just gone with [name_u]Riley[/name_u]. Also I don’t read [name_f]Rayleigh[/name_f] and [name_f]Raylee[/name_f] as [name_u]Riley[/name_u]–I read them as ray-lee. [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u] sound like a great pair!
