A friend of mine is expecting triplets and is thinking of calling them [name_u]Riley[/name_u], [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] (all boys); what do you think? Are they too samey? Is the matching initial a step too far? Thanks in advance.
I think you should advise your friend that each child is an INDIVIDUAL and so multiples should be named the same as other siblings. Give each baby a name all of their own with their own initial. I would choose one “R” name (my fave is [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]) and pick another initial other than “R” and avoid another boys name ending in “n”.
Examples
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m], [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_u]Bailey[/name_u], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u]
Speaking as a multiple those names are far to close. specially [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] all I can think of the Rowing on a [name_u]River[/name_u].
I like the ideas listed above additionally I suggest
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Prescott[/name_m], and [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m], and [name_u]Brady[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Archer[/name_m], and [name_u]Stanley[/name_u]
[name_u]River[/name_u], [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], and [name_m]Nash[/name_m]
[name_u]River[/name_u], [name_m]Hitch[/name_m], and [name_m]McCoy[/name_m]
[name_u]River[/name_u], [name_m]Mack[/name_m], and [name_m]Abner[/name_m]
