What do you think of the name [name_f]Rilla[/name_f]? I love it, but I’m afraid to use it because of the teasing possibilities. Would my daughter hate it?
It’s not my own cup of tea, but I think the name looks really cool in writing! Plus, I think I remember seeing a post about this a while ago, and it seems like it’s the name you really love. The more I say it though, the more I like it. I think she’ll fit in well enough with all the [name_f]Lila[/name_f]'s etc. while still being unique, which is nice!
Kids aren’t horrible, they don’t tease about everything. And it’s also important to remember that if kids do want to tease your kid, they’ll find something to tease - whether it’s the name, the hair, the height, the t-shirt, the personality. So pick a name you love and that you want your daughter to have.

I love [name_f]Rilla[/name_f]! [name_f]Rilla[/name_f] from the [name_f]Anne[/name_f] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables was so sweet and caring, with such a big heart. She’s the main character in the final [name_f]Anne[/name_f] book, which is one of my favourites from the series.
That’s where I fell in love with the name too. 
And I’ve liked it for a long time… we considered it for our first daughter, but ended up going with DH’s favorite. Now we have two more girls on the way, so it’s back at the top of my list!
