It just struck me (while, rather strangely, looking at the Wikipedia list of European rivers article, as one does) that it isn’t just children who have interesting stories behind their names, but also natural landmarks like mountain ranges and (you guessed it) rivers. [name_m]Just[/name_m] for fun, I have complied a short list of river names I think are beautiful/interesting/could work as names on actual children. Are there any more you can come up with? Which do you consider usable?
@mbrow222 - I have actually recently really started to like [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] - maybe it’s a sign?! [name_f]Loire[/name_f] and [name_u]Nile[/name_u] would be quite fun as middle names too - it might be quite a nice connection to the country (if you had lived there or had your honeymoon there) as well.
