Tonight my husband was onto nature names. He also mentioned he likes [name]Bear[/name] (he will not go for [name]Theodore[/name] and we are still considering [name]Arthur[/name]). On my B name thread [name]Baird[/name] was mentioned so I am taking that name into consideration too but not sure about ending with a D and then the middle name beginning D. Otherwise, I really like it.
[name]River[/name] has been on our list and I like [name]Fox[/name] but not sure if it is actually usable. [name]Just[/name] wondering, would you rather meet a:
[name]Fox[/name] [name]David[/name] Be@tty
or
[name]River[/name] [name]David[/name] Be@tty
???
I think I like [name]River[/name] Be@tty better but with all names I prefer [name]Fox[/name] just because of the 1-2-2 instead of 2-2-2.
I think [name]Fox[/name] is a gorgeous middle name, I love it, but not a very usable first name…[name]River[/name] on the other hand is fantastic, I’d love to come across a little or even big boy named [name]River[/name]!
Does the syllables really matter to you that much?
Last year I was a nanny to a 3-year-old boy whose middle name is [name]Baer[/name], said as ‘[name]Bear[/name]’. It fit him really well, and I thought the spelling was pretty cool, too. I asked his mother ?'s about his mn (of course!) and she told me that [name]Baer[/name] was a family name (her side–I think it was her Grandfather’s first name?). So sweet!!
I adore the name [name]River[/name] and also not too sure how easy it would be for your boy to wear the name [name]Fox[/name]. My vote definitely goes to [name]River[/name]!!!
I love both and I know both a [name]River[/name] and a [name]Fox[/name] in real life. [name]River[/name] is a grown man and [name]Fox[/name] is a baby. He gets compliments on his name all the time.
I would love to meet both, but for overall flow, I think [name]Fox[/name] [name]David[/name] B----- has better flow.
They’re both great names, but I think [name]River[/name] works a little better in the first slot. I really like [name]Fox[/name], but I tend to prefer it in the middle.
My 6 day old son has [name]Fox[/name] as one of his middle names and it was almost going to be his first name but we decided it’s a little to in you face and there isn’t anywhere to hide. That being said, I love it! But [name]River[/name] is lovely as well and I’d be happy to meet either.
Sorry that wasn’t much help, [name]Fox[/name] gets my vote but [name]River[/name] might be more usable

A few years ago, a friend of mine named her son [name]Fox[/name] and it still sounds a little odd to me (I just think of an animal, not a little boy). But I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]River[/name]! It has such a cool feel to it and flows so nicely. However, ultimately, I think you should pick whatever YOU like.
I like [name]Fox[/name] better than [name]River[/name], but I prefer [name]Fox[/name] in the middle. Although [name]River[/name] isn’t super common, it’s seems trendy to me. I think tacking an s on the end makes it more attractive and less common. So, I prefer [name]Rivers[/name] over just [name]River[/name]. And I think [name]Rivers[/name] [name]David[/name] flows much better.
[name]River[/name] reminds me of river phoenix who was the older brother of [name]Joaquin[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name]. All the siblings had unique names: [name]Summer[/name], liberty, and rain.
[name]Fox[/name] I think is more usable but river is still nice.
so many ideas and I can see the point in all of them. [name]Rivers[/name] is an interesting spin on [name]River[/name], thanks for throwing that out there!
