River,Reid,or Robin?

I like R names and nature names. As nobody’s using [name]Forest[/name] now,[name]River[/name] is my favorite nature name. But does it seem less serious?I don’t think it fits suits. [name]Reid[/name] sounds formal and dependable, but I can’t think of a nick name. I love [name]Robin[/name] since I was young but it seems more girls are using it… Well, which one do you like?

For whatever reason, the Spanish [name]Rio[/name] sounds more masculine to me than the English [name]River[/name] does. I’ve heard [name]River[/name] on girls, though.

[name]Reed[/name]/[name]Reid[/name] just don’t appeal.

[name]Robin[/name] for boys is usually a nickname for [name]Robert[/name], I thought? It’d freshen up [name]Robert[/name] nicely while [name]Robert[/name] still clarifies any gender issue?

My favourite R nature name for boys is [name]Rowan[/name] but I’ve heard that on girls too. More boys than girls though.

I vote [name]River[/name]!!

I like [name]Reid[/name]! Another option is [name]Ronan[/name] - an Irish nature name.

I love [name]River[/name]! I know a boy [name]River[/name] and he loves his name and it suits him so well. It feels artistic and strong, like a river, but also calm.

[name]Reed[/name] is my second favorite and even though I know boy [name]Robin[/name]'s I just don’t like it.

Others:

[name]Roan[/name]
[name]Ronan[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name]
[name]Rain[/name]
[name]Raven[/name]
[name]Reef[/name]
[name]Ridge[/name]
[name]Rock[/name]/[name]Rocky[/name] – I know a pretty successful guy named [name]Rocky[/name]
[name]Rye[/name]

Names with nature meanings:

Raam – thunder
[name]Ravi[/name] – sun
[name]Ren[/name] – water lily
[name]Roosevelt[/name] – field of roses
Rohin – born under the sandlewood tree
[name]Ryland[/name] – land where rye grows

I prefer [name]Reid[/name], but spelled [name]Reed[/name] if you’re going for a nature feel. [name]Robin[/name] is totally girl and Comedian to me. [name]River[/name] is mostly girl, and also a bit boring and cliched for a nature theme.

I like [name]Reid[/name] a lot; it doesn’t need a nickname. [name]River[/name] and [name]Robin[/name] come off as feminine to me.

[name]Reid[/name] is my favorite out of the three. When I hear the name [name]Robin[/name] I assume that it’s a girl being referred to.

[name]River[/name] is my absolute favorite! It’s on my list as well <3

Reid … I know too many people with Reid as a last name; can’t take it seriously as a first name.

Robin is great (Christopher Robin), but I agree, it’s more of a girl’s name now. It’s not a bad middle name though!

I love all three actually.

[name]Reid[/name] is my favorite by far though. I think it’s lovely, unique but usable, strong but not gruff.

[name]River[/name] is okay, I like it more as a middle name.

[name]Robin[/name] is a beautiful name but I find it hard to see it as a boys since it’s my sister’s middle.

[name]Rock[/name]/[name]Roc[/name] is an option as well
[name]Rowan[/name] is a great one, a tree
[name]Ridge[/name]
[name]Rye[/name]
[name]Reef[/name]

I like [name]River[/name] and [name]Reed[/name] (this spelling over [name]Reid[/name]) best.

I actually like [name]Forest[/name] too. I think it’s usable as well.

I love [name]River[/name], it is one of my favorites!

[name]River[/name]! [name]Love[/name] the name.

I love [name]River[/name] and [name]Robin[/name] for boys
