I just fell in love with [name_u]Rivers[/name_u] for a girl. We are due in [name_u]March[/name_u] 2022 and had a top three but none felt right until I heard [name_u]Rivers[/name_u]. I had [name_u]River[/name_u] on my list but it didn’t make the top of my list. I heard it with the s on the end and think it makes it. It is also more unique. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I are from an area with many rivers so it has some meaning for us as well.

I love [name_u]Rivers[/name_u] on a girl. It seems more feminine than [name_u]River[/name_u] to me- not sure why.

i’ve never heard rivers as a name before - i think it sounds fun ! the -s ending makes it seem less of a word and more of an actual name, maybe it is the similarity to -s ending surnames ? rivers loren sounds great also
I knew a girl named [name_u]Rivers[/name_u]! I always thought the name was really poetic and whimsical, and it fit her really well. The S adds just a touch more whimsy than just [name_u]River[/name_u], and also gives it a surname feel that adds more spunk.

Yes, surname vibes. I heard it on SJ Strum’s podcast. They were talking about surname names. She mentioned Brooks which we had considered as my mom’s name is Brooke. But then she said she liked Rivers better and I did too!

It is the more male spelling but we want to honor him with his actual name. Not sure it is a bad thing that you aren’t 100 percent certain boy or girl with the name written down. Thanks again! Yes I love the show and for some reason it didn’t click then. But it’s been off air for awhile. I love [name_u]Rawlings[/name_u] too as I played softball in HS but we didn’t go with it either.
