Wdyt of the name Ró (pronounced like [name]ROE[/name]). Its a Faroese female name that means “calm.” [name]Do[/name] you think it would make a nice middle name?
As a mn I think it would be very cool. A bit insubstantial for a fn.
Or a nickname?
I love [name]Ro[/name] as a nn for something like [name]Rosalie[/name]–I never knew it was a name in its own right. Ró sounds (and looks) a bit gender-neutral (as is just [name]Ro[/name], I suppose), but I definitely think it could work with a girlier FN.

I know a Rolonda who goes by [name]Ro[/name]. It is a nice name for a nice person. 
I think it could work as a middle name, or as a nick name… but if it is a nick name, does that take the meaning away from it? If you’re really in love with the background and meaning, I would use it as a middle, by itself or paired with a second mn.

I wasn’t planning on using it. Its a name I like, but I wouldn’t necessarily use it. I just wanted to throw it out there. Maybe someone else would like it as a middle name

I can see I’m not the only fan of Legitimate [name]Baby[/name] Names around here! :> I love the Faroese and Norse names she’s been posting lately. If only Hjørdis were usable! :> The only problem I can foresee with Ró is that the accent over the O won’t work in most English language databases, so it will end up getting dropped.
