What are your thoughts on [name_u]Roan[/name_u] and [name_m]Thayer[/name_m]?
I am just starting to look into middle names for [name_u]Roan[/name_u], currently have [name_u]Roan[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_u]Roan[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u] (both honor a close family member). I am also thinking about [name_u]Roan[/name_u] [name_u]Noel[/name_u] (NOHL), honoring my late grandma but I am unsure the combo works.
I know. I wish it had a better meaning. I like the sound of it also, it is interesting and not a name you hear every day. My late grandma used to do washing and tailoring on the side to earn extra income when my mom and uncle were small. So it honors here in a round about way.
[name_f]LOVE[/name_f] both [name_u]Roan[/name_u] and [name_m]Thayer[/name_m]. To me they also sound adorable as siblings!
I like the spelling of [name_u]Roan[/name_u] and [name_m]Thayer[/name_m] has kind of a ‘fantasy’ element to it that draws me. To me it doesn’t really matter the meaning of a name, because no one really knows it. I know that us nameberries value it somewhat, but most people have no idea what their name means, and probably no idea what anyone else’s means either!
[name_u]Roan[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is a wonderful combination and I like it a lot better than the others.
[name_m]Thayer[/name_m] [name_u]Noel[/name_u] actually has a really nice ring to it, if you like that combo!
I really like [name_m]Thayer[/name_m] [name_u]Noel[/name_u]. Thank you for suggesting it. I think [name_u]Roan[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] blends slightly better then [name_u]Roan[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u]. Though I am leaning more toward honoring the person for [name_u]August[/name_u]. It’s a hard decision.
I agree with alliecat - [name_u]Roan[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] sounds great, as well as [name_m]Thayer[/name_m] [name_u]Noel[/name_u]. And [name_u]Roan[/name_u] and [name_m]Thayer[/name_m] make good brothers.
