I love [name_u]Roan[/name_u]! I have never seem the appeal of [name_m]Wilder[/name_m].

I prefer the name [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] to [name_u]Roan[/name_u] but with the middle name [name_m]William[/name_m] I like how [name_u]Roan[/name_u] flows with it better.

I voted for [name_u]Roan[/name_u]. [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] sounds as though you’re referring to the wilder [name_m]William[/name_m] of a pair of [name_m]Williams[/name_m].

Yeah this is the only issue I have with this name, it feels too descriptive almost.

Anyone have an opinion on Roan?

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Roan[/name_u] and think it’s fantastic. Only issue I’ve seen come up with it is some people want to pronounce it like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] when they see it.

Ditto.

I vastly prefer [name_u]Roan[/name_u] to [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s not technically a nature name, it has the feel of a nature name due to the fact that it’s a color of horses and when I hear it, I think of the wild horses out west. [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] IT!

I prefer [name_u]Roan[/name_u], especially with the middle [name_m]William[/name_m]. [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] and other -er names are trending upwards fast for both sexes, and I think there’s a danger that [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] will feel dated in a few years.

While [name_u]Roan[/name_u] is my favorite spelling of the name, I prefer [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] for you. It has the same handsome feeling that [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] Be@r has. I love it!

I think the only danger of it feeling dated is if it becomes really popular (which is entirely possible). This is so hard!
