Both names are already high on my list, and I do like other nicknames for [name_m]Robert[/name_m] ([name_u]Robin[/name_u], [name_u]Robbie[/name_u], [name_u]Bobby[/name_u]–it has lots of potential!). I definitely think they’re too similar for brothers but I was intrigued by the possibility of [name_u]Rory[/name_u] as a nickname for a [name_m]Robert[/name_m]. (For me, [name_m]Robert[/name_m] is a family name and a lot of the other nicknames are already in use).
[name_m]Robert[/name_m] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is interesting and creative - I like it
[name_m]Robert[/name_m] is an honour name for me also and I’ve never considered [name_u]Rory[/name_u] as a nn before but I like it! It could work for a girl also.
I prefer [name_u]Rory[/name_u] as a full name, but I think it could work as a nickname for [name_m]Robert[/name_m]. Clever!
Yes, definitely, love this idea.
I guess it could work but I’m more inclined to see [name_u]Rory[/name_u] as a full name by itself .
[name_u]Love[/name_u] this so much! I never liked any traditional nicknames for [name_m]Robert[/name_m]
Yes, absolutely!! I love this idea!
Great idea! I have lots of [name_m]Robert[/name_m]'s in my family too. It’s my grandpa’s middle name, my dad’s first name, and my brother’s first name.
l know a 5 year old named [name_m]Robert[/name_m] with the nickname [name_u]Rory[/name_u]! Super cute!!!
Definitely works and is a fresh alternative.
