Heard this name on tv today and it really jumped out at me. It kind of has that nice vintage-y feel. We already have our girl’s name picked out for this one, but maybe for a future sister? What are your thoughts?

Hmm, someone finally bit! LOL. Honestly, I never thought much of [name]Roberta[/name] either until very recently. For some reason, something about it is just speaking to me right now!
I like [name]Rowena[/name] and adore [name]Ramona[/name] but [name]Roberta[/name] is too clunky for me.
I could see [name]Robin[/name] coming back amongst all the Wrens and Larks though.

I have an Aunt [name]Robbie[/name] ([name]Roberta[/name].) I like the nicknames, but the “bert” part of the full name I don’t like so much.

I’m from AUS and there is a famous gangster and his wife is called [name]Roberta[/name] [name]Williams[/name] and I think she has put me off the name…Let’s just say she is a very rough women with no class so I immediately associate the name to her 
On the plus side though [name]Bobby[/name] would be a cute NN

I would love to meet one. [name]Bertie[/name]/[name]Birdie[/name] would be a very on-trend nickname. I think it’s hipstery cool, but it’s not for me. I prefer [name]Robin[/name], despite it’s dated feel, I think it’s naturey & sweet. [name]Roberta[/name] makes me think of a hideous woman straight away, but like [name]Agnes[/name], [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Mabel[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name] & [name]Matilda[/name], once you meet a cute little baby called by it, the image changes. [name]Roberta[/name] could easily join that list!

I [name]LOVE[/name] the thought of nn [name]Bertie[/name], but I agree that the “[name]Bert[/name]” part puts me off a little bit. I really like the “[name]Birdie[/name]” spelling instead. I’m coming to the realization that I just love feminizations. I can’t seem to help myself!
