I just came across the name [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] and I really like it! It’s interesting how strong it sounds, but it actually means rest.
Our other favorite boys name that my SO and I agree on are [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] and [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] SO and I also agree on [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_f]Tahlia[/name_f] for girls.
Could [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] work with those names or should I keep it as a middle name option?
Rocco’s brilliant, isn’t it? I’ve known one little one with the name, he’d be about 10 now. I think [name_f]Tahlia[/name_f] and [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] have a similar, spirited vibe, but [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] and [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] are quite different. [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] & [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] sound amazing!
I think [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] fits great! All of the names you listed really give off that same soft strength - where a name can somehow sound simultaneously powerful and sturdy but also whispery and romantic. I especially like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] and [name_u]Rocco[/name_u], and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] together!
All I can think of is Rocco’s modern life, honestly (which isn’t my favorite).
I would keep it middle because I really don’t think it has the classy sturdiness of the others…

While I don’t put too much focus on finding perfectly matched sets, [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] sound mismatched to me. As would [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] and [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] - I guess it just depends on how many kids you have and which other names you pick.
[name_u]Rocco[/name_u] would make a great middle though - [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] and [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] are very cool!

[name_u]Rocco[/name_u] is fun and memorable. I think you ought to add every name you can agree on since often that isn’t very many. Once a baby is on the way, feelings can change and it can get even harder to choose. We also never know how many children we might have in our life. So if you both like [name_u]Rocco[/name_u], definitely add it to your list.
[name_u]Rocco[/name_u] is cool! I know a young teen called [name_u]Rocco[/name_u], so it’s definitely useable. I do think the vibes of [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] are quite different to the other names you’ve listed though.

[name_u]Rocco[/name_u] has a much more harsh spunky vibe then your other names but I like it a lot. [name_u]Rocky[/name_u] is such a cute nickname too. [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] are excellent together.
