What are your thoughts on [name_m]Rocky[/name_m] for a girl?

As a standalone name, no but I love it as a nickname for [name_f]Raquel[/name_f].

It reminds me of [name_f]Zendaya[/name_f]’s character on Shake it Up. I don’t like it as a standalone but it worked for her. I believe it was short for [name_f]Raquel[/name_f] on the show.

Reminds me of the pup from Paw Patrol… but other than that I like it. It reminds me a bit of [name_u]Rory[/name_u].
I think I’d prefer it on a boy though.

Rocky sounds a little harsh on a girl too me. I prefer [name_u]Rory[/name_u].

I knew a [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] that went by [name_m]Rocky[/name_m]. Have you considered [name_f]Roxy[/name_f]?

Its my dogs name :sweat_smile:
I prefer it for a boy (like the movie!) but I suppose it would be okay on a girl.

I’d only like it as a nickname for a longer name, like [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f].

I know a little girl with this name, and it caught me off guard at first but honestly, everyone just got used to it after a while.

As a stand-alone name, I like it more for a girl than a boy

I’m used to it as a boy’s name but I could see it as a diminutive to something like [name_f]Raquel[/name_f] as suggested or [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]/Rocksana/Roxanna
