I was adopted by [name]Cynthia[/name] [name]Benson[/name], an interior decorator, and [name]Leo[/name] [name]Benson[/name], a ER doctor, when I was an infant. My birth parents, [name]Joanna[/name] Stevens and [name]David[/name] [name]Gilbert[/name], were teenagers when I was born, and they were incapable of taking care of me. That is all I know of them. They did not leave enough information for me to go look for them.

When I went to college, I majored in nursing and I attended [name]Rice[/name] University in [name]Houston[/name], [name]Texas[/name]. I wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps and work in medicine. My ideal choice was an ER nurse.

My mother, [name]Terry[/name] [name]Faye[/name] Cotner, passed away at childbirth, so I was raised by a single father, [name]Kingsley[/name] Dominador Cotner. My father could never fall in love again, so I never got a brother or sister. When I turned 18, I moved to LA to attend USC, living in my aunt’s house who is a professor, her name is [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Iris[/name] Cotner. I decided to major in Engeneering.

We always had it decorated with framed abstract art and there was always a fat container of coffee grounds on the dining room table.
