Roman and Solomon?

[name]Do[/name] you think [name]Roman[/name] and [name]Solomon[/name] are too similar to use as siblings? Or do they sound similar but it isn’t too much? I can’t decide myself and thought I’d ask for some opinions. Also, what are your opinions on these names in general (together and seperately)? Thanks!

I don’t think they’re too similar, they give me kind of the same feeling, they’re both calm and old names, but they’re quite different. You could definitely use them for brothers. I love both, wouldn’t use them myself, but I find them beautiful and interesting, I would guess they had pretty cool parents.

No, I really like them together! I’ve got lots of similar ending names on my list, e.g. [name]Elijah[/name], [name]Micah[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Nathaniel[/name] etc. I’d be quite happy to use those for brothers because the names actually sound nothing alike.

I think they are beautiful together.

I don’t think they’re too similar. They’re strong, handsome, and work wonderfully for brothers.

I think [name]Roman[/name] is by far one of my favorite names. It is so handsome, sexy, and powerful. It is a perfect name for a little boy and grown man. I love it.

[name]Solomon[/name] is not one of my favorite name. I think it’s a bit long and over the top. I do think it works well with [name]Roman[/name], though.

All I can think, of them together, is of some historical context like “The Romans destroyed [name]Solomon[/name]'s [name]Temple[/name].”

I can’t picture them together at all.

I like [name]Solomon[/name] okay (it’s a family name actually) but really don’t have any warm associations for [name]Roman[/name] at all. It’s just connotations, I think, I don’t mind [name]Ronan[/name] or [name]Rowan[/name].
