Romy?

We would definitely like to use [name_u]Romy[/name_u] as a nn for a little girl. Problem is we can’t agree on what it should be short for. She will be named for her grandmother, [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f], since [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is a diminutive of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. It will be a middle and we might use it as a given name instead of a nn if we change the first (currently we agree on Avin but might lengthen to [name_f]Aoibhinn[/name_f]). We went through [name_f]Romilly[/name_f], [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f], [name_m]Roman[/name_m], and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. The only thing we both like is Romneya. It’s a genus of poppies. I’m wondering if it’s too unusual, even as a more adventurous middle? Avin [name_f]Katia[/name_f] Romneya Lyren? [name_f]Aoibhinn[/name_f] [name_f]Katia[/name_f] [name_u]Romy[/name_u] Lyren? Any input is welcome

[name_u]Romy[/name_u] is cute. I’d go for Romneya as a middle name.
