These are our top 2 names. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] due in less than 2 weeks. Which name do you like best for boy and why?
People in the past have said “Rory” ties their tongue, but that is not a worry for me. Thanks in advance!

[name_u]Rory[/name_u].
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]! I think you could even get away with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] nicknamed [name_u]Rory[/name_u]!
I love [name_u]Rory[/name_u]. I dislike [name_m]Theodore[/name_m].
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] - adore the sweet, rugged feel
I agree with @readingreverie that you could get both names from [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. Both are great names but I think I am slightly favouring [name_u]Rory[/name_u].
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] - less common these days
[name_u]Rory[/name_u].
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m].
theodore ‘rory’! it totally works as a nickname, so why not have the best of both worlds?
Theodore!! Timeless and handsome!!!
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] “Rory”!!
I definitely prefer [name_u]Rory[/name_u] but sadly can’t use it because it’s a bit of a tongue twister for me. I also agree with others that [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] called [name_u]Rory[/name_u] totally works if you want both.
Congratulations
Both names are very handsome however my favourite is [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is lovely such a classic choice handsome, strong, timeless and cuddly. He’s a lovely cosy option with a range of sweet vintage nicknames. I also really love the meaning ‘gift of G-d’.
I honestly do really like both, and not sure where you live, but if it were me, I’d go with the least popular option! If this isn’t a worry for you, then I’d do the best of both worlds route, and go for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] nn “Rory”.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] both names but I would have to pick [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] as I love the name, meaning, and all the nickname potentials.
In that case, Rory! I hear so the name Theodore so often, and tbh it sounds overly formal to me. Rory is sweet and fun, and works for all ages!
Theodore!! I love the meaning, the fact that it’s classic, and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] as a nickname!
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] “Rory” would be so sweet ! I can see how some people can trip over [name_u]Rory[/name_u], it can trip on some kid’s tounges if they have speech inpediments (I know a girl naned [name_u]Rory[/name_u] who has speech problems and says woh wee) but that isn’t a problem!
Oddly enough , we have an equal number of [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and Theodore’s in my social circles . However I tend to love longer names with nickname potential so ultimately my vote goes to [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
