Really like this name on a girl but I don’t know if it can stand alone. What do you think of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u]? Can you guys think of anything but [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] (too [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] girls) to be a more complete name for [name_u]Rory[/name_u], and/or could [name_u]Rory[/name_u] be the full name?
[name_m]New[/name_m] thought: is [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] too much of a stretch?
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is a bit of a stretch but still possible. I honestly [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] with [name_u]Rory[/name_u] for a nn that’s actually my #1 girl name!
I adore [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] NN [name_u]Rory[/name_u].
I love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and think [name_u]Rory[/name_u] would make a great nickname for her. I also think that [name_u]Rory[/name_u] could stand alone if you wanted it to, but I personally would prefer it with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] as a full name.
Maybe [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]?I think [name_u]Rory[/name_u] would be fine on its own, honestly.
Other suggestions:
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f]
[name_f]Rora[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u] as well, half elegant half spunky
I actually really like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] on a girl (blame the fact I’m currently binge watching [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls). [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nicknamed [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is stunning.
Hey, I’m a [name_u]Rory[/name_u], short for [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] (ugh). [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name, and it definitely works by itself. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is beautiful too though
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]! It is a great adult name with a cute nn, [name_u]Rory[/name_u].
I love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u], I think that’s your best bet! [name_u]Rory[/name_u] could also work for [name_f]Ro[/name_f]semary, but I prefer [name_u]Romy[/name_u] for her.
If you don’t mind more of a stretch, I suppose any name with -or- in it could work, though I like the full -ror- to be there. Examples: [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], [name_f]Gloria[/name_f], [name_f]Mallory[/name_f], [name_f]Oriana[/name_f], [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]… another thought: [name_f]Flora[/name_f]/[name_f]Florence[/name_f] nn [name_f]Florrie[/name_f].
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is lovely,
Other names which could work are [name_f]Honor[/name_f], [name_f]Honora[/name_f] and [name_f]Onora[/name_f]
