Rosa and Roman too close?

I’m set on [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] for a girl and I love the name [name_m]Roman[/name_m] for a boy. They’re definitely similar, but are they too similar to use as a sibset? In case it’s relevant, last name is a 4 syllable Spanish name that starts with E.

Sorry, I do think they’re too similar!

  1. If you were to have another kid, and they didn’t have a [name_f]Ro[/name_f]- beginning it would feel a bit weird.
  2. What if [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] wants a spunkier nickname? So not the cute [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] or her full name, [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]. The most obvious option is [name_f]Ro[/name_f], which is also the most obvious nickname for [name_m]Roman[/name_m]. I wouldn’t like going by the same nickname as my sibling.

I like both but do feel they’re too similar for a sibset. I’d use one as a middle instead of a fn if you really love both.
