I chose [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] because it sounds darling. [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] seems like it might provide more flexibility as a middle name or first name when it comes to a middle name though.

[name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] is lovely though! Definitely better than [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] simply because of the repeted “al”.

I like how the legal name and hebrew name compliment each other. Neat!

I prefer [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f]. They are both beautiful names, but [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] seems fresh and cool compared to [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f], which is just too trendy and girly for me with the ‘belle’ ending.

[name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] all the way. [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] sounds over-the-top sweet/pink to me. [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] has edge, while still being very romantic. I prefer the balance of consonants in [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] to [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f], which is more heavily weighted at one end by those Ls. [name_f]Opal[/name_f] is wonderful. [name_f]Opal[/name_f] together with “white rose” or “beautiful rose” does get very naturey… I’d almost prefer a sharper, more “name-ish” middle name if you’re using [name_f]Opal[/name_f] as a first. [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Baila[/name_f] is great imo. [name_f]Baila[/name_f]'s the honor-name, right?

Thanks. Yeah, I try to do this for all my good combos I’d actually use - I like the names to relate to each other by sound or meaning, not just be 4 separate ones I like or it feels too randomized. I always liked that most of the people in my family had some sort of connection between their names, though not everyone does.

[name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] is unique and strong-sounding! Very fresh, but has its roots in antiquity. [name_f]Love[/name_f] it. [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] sounds so girly - if that’s what you like, then [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] gives you that! But I like [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] much better. Very good choice.

[name_f]Rahel[/name_f] and [name_f]Baila[/name_f] both are honour names, for two different people. Since I’m not really going to have tons of kids (barring amazing miraculous higher-order multiples that aren’t really very likely!) I like to make pairings if I can.

It leaves me trying to make various combos of initials. I realize it sounds a bit deranged but it makes more sense in the context of my family which is very, very used to the whole initial-matching thing.

It might not work though. I’m still trying to figure it out.

Well I think [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] is an inspired way to incorporate both names. Still love love loving [name_f]Raziela[/name_f] for you. [name_f]Raziela[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f]? [name_f]Baila[/name_f] is sort of contained in [name_f]Raziela[/name_f] as well. Other [name_f]Baila[/name_f] B-names:

[name_f]Raziela[/name_f] [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Raziela[/name_f] [name_u]Blair[/name_u]
[name_f]Raziela[/name_f] Basmat (had to mention just for the sake of those repeated “[name_m]OZ[/name_m]” sounds.)

I chose [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] because I had a super sweet kid named Rosalva (Spanish) in my class last year and I think its a great underused name!

I vote [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]!

I picked [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] because I absolutely love the name Rosabella.
My opinion does not change if it is the middle name, but I much prefer it for a first.

[name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] is one of my favorites — somebody should use it (because I love it so much).

Hmm. I love [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] and I love [name_f]Alba[/name_f] but I know if I had a child [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f], I would never have the energy to use her full name with two amazing nn built in. As a middle, [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] is the winner. [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] feels VERY feminine. Is [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] not workable with your SN? [name_u]Rosario[/name_u]? [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]?

emmabobemma, I do still love [name_f]Raziela[/name_f]. Thanks for giving it some love.

jeanne6629, [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] sounds a bit odd with the surname. I suppose it could work but if I’m dropping the B- sound out I’m likelier to embrace [name_f]Raquel[/name_f]/[name_f]Raquela[/name_f]. [name_u]Rosario[/name_u] is rather Catholic, I think? Means “rosary” - I love [name_u]Rosario[/name_u] [name_m]Dawson[/name_m] but it’s a bit much to drop on a Jewish kid, no?

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is an option if I re-bundle my Hebrew combos to [name_f]Rahel[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], I suppose. In the same line of thought, [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is still a favourite but sounds odd with the surname - I love it so much I may forgive it.

rachelkathleen218, [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] would always lose to [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] for me, I love the ‘for remembrance’ tie in. But the surname ends in a -y and I worry it sounds odd.
