In my maternal language, [name_f]Viola[/name_f] is pronounced (vee-oh-luh). I wouldn’t advise you to pick that name/pronunciation. [name_f]Viola[/name_f] is the word for the musical instrument but also a conjugation form of the verb violate. So if you really love that name, in my opinion, the best pronunciation is the one actress [name_f]Viola[/name_f] [name_m]Davis[/name_m] uses (Vie-oh-la) - same beginning as [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
