We are expecting a baby girl and I can’t decide between [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. Help! 
Either one is great, but I would go for [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] because of the nn potential. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is a nice combo. Best wishes!

These are two of my favorite names! Wow this is hard haha. I suppose it depends on what you plan to do for her middle name. You could combine them ([name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] or [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]) or you may be looking into other middle names (if your considering using a grandparent or parent’s name).

I like both, but as far as FNs go, I prefer [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. I think the nn [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]'s adorable, and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is so dainty and pretty. I like [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] as a middle, but for some reason as a FN it takes me back to The [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] Letter, which always gave me the shudders. I suppose it’s a perfectly fine book, with good lessons to be drawn from it, but as a [name_m]Christian[/name_m] it just made me mad that the church couldn’t figure out how to show mercy and how so much hardship, hate, and negativity came out of it. lol. If you’re planning on using one as a FN and the other as a MN, though, I’m massively in love with the idea of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]–much more than [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], for some reason. For some reason, the idea of a [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] just makes me happy. So if [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is an option, that would for sure get my vote, but for any other combo, I think I’d probably vote [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. Much as I love [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], I find it really hard to find [name_f]Rose[/name_f]- combos that take me to my happy place.

They are both elegant, feminine, and lovely. Pearl is a little less common and less expected. It also lends itself less to nicknames, if that is something you care about. Cannot choose wrong.
