What do you think of these beauties? which one would you pair up with [name]Agnes[/name] as a twin name? (still trying to find the perfect girl choices) !!!
middle name is [name]Gwendoline[/name]… siblings are [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Sybil[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and twin sisters name will be [name]Agnes[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
Well, I did like [name]Martha[/name] with [name]Agnes[/name] but it’s not on the list anymore…[name]Mavis[/name] and [name]Doris[/name] are TOO matchy with [name]Agnes[/name].
[name]Agnes[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and twin sister…
1 [name]Edith[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name] (if you don’t mind [name]Edith[/name] sharing an initial with [name]Elijah[/name])
2 [name]Maude[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name] ([name]Maude[/name] has the same vintage charm as [name]Agnes[/name])
3 [name]Winifred[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name] (I would spell [name]Winifred[/name] with one “n”)
I love [name]Rosalind[/name] but it’s almost too pretty and romantic with the more heavy [name]Agnes[/name].
I’m very fond of [name]Rosalind[/name] and [name]Edith[/name]. With [name]Gwendoline[/name] as the middle I slightly prefer [name]Edith[/name], as I think [name]Rosalind[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name] is sort of repetitive (which I don’t usually mind but I think it doesn’t work well in this one). However, [name]Sybil[/name] and [name]Edith[/name] in the same sibset may be too obviously Downton [name]Abbey[/name] inspired.
[name]Agnes[/name] & [name]Maude[/name] would be fantastic together! Also [name]Edith[/name]. [name]Love[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name] but it might be a mouthful with [name]Gwendoline[/name]. Never been a fan of either [name]Mavis[/name] or [name]Doris[/name] but I’d like [name]Mabel[/name] with [name]Agnes[/name]!
I like [name]Mavis[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name] first followed by [name]Doris[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name].
[name]Rosalind[/name] is also very pretty, but I don’t think it matches well with [name]Agnes[/name] at all. To me, that’s like naming one [name]Marguerite[/name] and another [name]Marge[/name]–the frilliness is mismatched.
The only one I really like is [name]Rosalind[/name], not only because it’s pretty but because it goes well with [name]Elijah[/name] and [name]Sybil[/name], but it doesn’t go very well with [name]Agnes[/name]. So if [name]Agnes[/name] is set, I’d say [name]Maude[/name] would be the best match.
[name]Mavis[/name]: I’m torn about it, it sounds unbelievably cute but it isn’t a favourite of mine.
[name]Doris[/name]: A bit too old fashioned for me.
[name]Rosalind[/name]: Wonderful and beautiful name.
[name]Maude[/name]: [name]One[/name] of my own favourite names, if I have two daughters I’m pretty set on calling the second one [name]Maude[/name] (already have a name picked out for a potential first daughter). It’s so beautiful and sophisticated - especially with the French pronunciation which is softer.
[name]Winnifred[/name]: Same as with [name]Doris[/name], also I can’t help but thinking of [name]Winnie[/name] the Pooh.
[name]Edith[/name]: [name]Lovely[/name] name and [name]Edith[/name] [name]Piaf[/name] is a great namesake.
Overall [name]Rosalind[/name] and [name]Maude[/name] are my favourites, but I would probably pair [name]Agnes[/name] and [name]Maude[/name].
[name]Agnes[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Maude[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name] sound beautiful together.
