I love both, but obviously couldn’t use both of them. Which do you prefer {and why, if you can}?
Also: How do you pronounce Rosamund? I’ve been pronouncing it as ROSE-uh-mund, but I’ve heard that it’s meant to be pronounced ROZ-uh-mund?

[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is one of my faves. I dislike [name_f]Roz[/name_f], but I love [name_f]Lindy[/name_f] as a nickname.
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] sounds a bit too aristocratic for me. [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is a bit more down to earth.
I prefer [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], but both are nice! I say “rose-ah-mund” too. I don’t like it said the other way (it sounds ugly to me).
I pronounce both of these with the rose- sound in the beginning, not [name_f]Roz[/name_f]. Like you, I have recently been contradicted though. I don’t know how you prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. But I do prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. I don’t think the -mund ending is as attractive as -lind.
I prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], it sounds more elegant to me but neither of these is my favorite [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-name, I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] best of them all.
I pronounce [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] the second way, [name_f]Roz[/name_f]-uh-mund.
I say both of them with “[name_f]Roz[/name_f]” sounds. They’re both lovely, but I slightly prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
Dh says [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. I think this sounds more feminine to him.
