[name]Rosamund[/name] Churchyard
[name]Rosalind[/name] Churchyard
Thanks!
I think both names fit the sibset-vintage and femme without being overly so. Personally, I like [name]Rosalind[/name] better that [name]Rosamund[/name]. I think [name]Rosalyn[/name] is even prettier =)
[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name] with your sibset. I think [name]Rosamund[/name] works great, too, though I can’t decide whether I prefer [name]Rosamund[/name] or [name]Rosamond[/name]. But I think [name]Rosalind[/name] is perfect!
Thanks! I think I prefer [name]Rosamund[/name] slightly but glad you like them!
I love [name]Rosalind[/name], especially with your sibset.
[name]Rosalind[/name] is gorgeous!
I can also suggest [name]Rosella[/name], which is a beautiful, underused “[name]Rose[/name]” name :).
Good lucK!
I much much prefer [name]Rosamund[/name], I think it’s both strong and pretty. [name]Rosalind[/name] seems a bit too cutesy and it might be nn’d [name]Lindy[/name]/[name]Linda[/name].
[name]Rosalind[/name] hands down
[name]Rosalind[/name] would be my preference. It’s one of my favorite names. I also think it sounds beautiful with [name]Florence[/name] and [name]Dorothy[/name].
[name]Rosamund[/name] looks too masculine to me, I think [name]Rosalind[/name] is a better choice, you might also like Rosemee and Rosemaine for a [name]Rose[/name] name with an M
I love both [name]Rosalind[/name] and [name]Rosamund[/name]. I may very slightly prefer [name]Rosamund[/name], just because I think it’s a bit more unexpected, but at the same time I think that the reactions that [name]Rosamund[/name] gets seem to be a bit more polarizing than [name]Rosalind[/name]. Either would fit in with sisters [name]Florence[/name] and [name]Dorothy[/name], in my opinion, and I think that [name]Rosalind[/name] Churchyard or [name]Rosamund[/name] Churchyard sounds like a character from a book in the best possible way.
I prefer [name]Rosamund[/name], but [name]Rosalind[/name] is equally lovely.
I much prefer [name]Rosalind[/name].
I love both [name]Rosamund[/name] and [name]Rosalind[/name] so for me it comes down to how the name “fits” with [name]Florence[/name] and [name]Dorothy[/name]. The trouble is that both do “fit” to a certain degree but I think [name]Rosalind[/name] “fits” a little more. [name]Rosamund[/name] is elegant, sophisticated and patrician while I think [name]Rosalind[/name] is a more down-to-earth, non-nonsense solid citizen type of name with a bit of sassiness thrown into the mix. I see [name]Florence[/name], [name]Dorothy[/name] and [name]Rosalind[/name] as being cut from the same cloth!
nono: you made my laugh with the character comment! The number of times I have heard that… My name is [name]Elizabeth[/name] Churchyard by marriage and it gets commented on all the time. Think it must be our surname! Although DH has the best name… are you ready for it! He’s going to kill me for this but so worth it!: [name]Timothy[/name] [name]Reginald[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] [name]John[/name] Churchyard affectionately known as “Tragic [name]Tim[/name]”! Seriously no idea what my in-laws were thinking!
Think we’ll be adding both names to the list although I still think I slightly prefer [name]Rosamund[/name]…
Here’s the list!:
[name]Mabel[/name] Churchyard
[name]Gloria[/name] Churchyard
[name]Enid[/name] Churchyard
[name]Lucinda[/name] Churchyard
[name]Louisa[/name] Churchyard
[name]Rosamund[/name] Churchyard
[name]Rosalind[/name] Churchyard
Sorry about the persistent surname writing! I find it helps me visualise! Any names which stand out for anyone?
Thanks!
[name]Rosamund[/name] is gorgeous. I also love [name]Enid[/name]. Your husbands name is very distinguished, shame about the initials!
Ooh, I love [name]Rosalind[/name]!
