Rosamund

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is one of my long time favorites. What do you think of [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]? What middle names do you like with it?
Thanks!

I once loved [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. It’s clunky, but romantic, medieval, fantasy… and I like that.

I think [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] would be nice, but you’re looking for middle names…

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Jonquil[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]True[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]

I adore [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]! I agree with Sorceress, [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] would be lovely, and on my list, I have [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] and [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f].

My [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] combos in the past have been:

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]/[name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Christina[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Christabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Christiana[/name_f].

I like it! It’s clunky, but in a good way! I think it needs something light and maybe quirky in the middle to create balance.

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Tess[/name_f]

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is growing on me.
I was never really a fan of it before, but it is slowly gaining favor with me.

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]! So beautiful!

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Liesel[/name_f]/[name_f]Liesl[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Athena[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]

Agree with the others in favor of [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. Somehow what it has working against it (i.e. clunky) somehow makes it more charming. Not to mention you have [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] or [name_m]Ross[/name_m] as potential nicknames, should the name be too overbearing on a child or teen.

I love all [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names really. Got some great mn suggestions too!

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sound lovely to my ears.

I love it, and prefer it to many of the other [name_f]Rose[/name_f]- names. It has a somber sound that grounds it. I don’t particularly like [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] as a nickname though, prefer [name_m]Rommie[/name_m] or [name_u]Romy[/name_u].

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Clare[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Yael[/name_u]

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is gorgeous. I personally prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], but [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is honestly just as spectacular. And the lovely [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_m]Pike[/name_m] is making the name twice as likeable. If you’ve seen Pride and Prejudice from 2005, [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_m]Pike[/name_m]'s character is exactly how I visualise a [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f].

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f] (I have [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f] on my list and I think the two compliment each other so well)
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Elysia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] Evenstar
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Fiorella[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] Illyria
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Indira[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Septima[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] Valinor
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_m]Pike[/name_m] in Pride & Prejudice was the first time I heard the name. Of course I’m biased, but it’s a great name and has served our daughter well. Her nickname is [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] but we also call her [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], especially as she is getting older. Her middle name is [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], which I felt was the perfect match and balance for our [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f].

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is elegant, sophisticated, feminine, grounded, and strong. I do personally prefer the more lighthearted and spunky-sounding [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (which is just as beautiful if not moreso and equally able to stand up for herself), partly because of the Shakespearean connection. But [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is a lovely name that would serve any girl well. I think of [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_m]Pike[/name_m] in P&P too, so sweet and charming.
