Rose and June

So my cousin just had twin girls yesterday, and my husband and I were playing a little game of what if. I’m trying to come up with names if we were to ever have twin girls. Right now I’m LOVING [name]Rose[/name] and [name]June[/name] but having trouble with middle names. Here are a few of my favorite longer names. Any other suggestions would be appreciated!

I love to put short first names with really long middle names:

[name]Rose[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] - stately, lovely, sounds like [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Roosevelt[/name]
[name]Frances[/name] - [name]Rose[/name] [name]Frances[/name], love [name]Rose[/name] [name]Francesca[/name] more
[name]Caroline[/name] - I would add an “a”: [name]Rose[/name] [name]Carolina[/name], not as great as some of the others to my ear
[name]Elizabeth[/name] - [name]June[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], that is graceful
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] - so lovely! Maybe I would pick this even over [name]Anastasia[/name] (see below)
[name]Louisa[/name] - I love [name]Louise[/name] [name]Rose[/name], but not [name]Rose[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] as much. It might grow on me though.
[name]Susannah[/name] - [name]Susannah[/name] [name]June[/name] is very pretty.

[name]Rose[/name] [name]Anastasia[/name] - [name]Anastasia[/name] is my favorite middle for [name]Rose[/name] and I have thought about it a lot!
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Isadora[/name], [name]Rose[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Cosima[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Marianna[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Maddalena[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Cassandra[/name] - very lovely!
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Clementina[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Leocadia[/name]

[name]June[/name] [name]Francesca[/name] - this is so beautiful
[name]June[/name] [name]Clementina[/name] - love this
[name]June[/name] [name]Augustine[/name] - summery and very fun to say, one of the best
[name]June[/name] [name]Augustina[/name] - ditto
[name]June[/name] [name]Viola[/name] -
[name]June[/name] [name]Estella[/name] - nice balance, it’s hard to find a middle name that balances [name]June[/name].
[name]June[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] - very pretty, I would choose this maybe
[name]June[/name] [name]Valentina[/name]
[name]June[/name] [name]Dorothea[/name]
[name]June[/name] [name]Acadia[/name]
[name]June[/name] [name]Acacia[/name]
[name]June[/name] [name]Magnolia[/name]

The first two off your list-- [name]Rose[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]June[/name] [name]Frances[/name].

I love [name]June[/name]! I think she’s so pretty, stately and a little sassy at the same time.

Thanks so much for the suggestions!

Right now, I’m liking [name]Rose[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]June[/name] [name]Frances[/name] & [name]Rose[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] and [name]June[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].

Are [name]Rose[/name] and [name]June[/name] too theme-y for siblings?

[name]Rose[/name] and [name]June[/name] are great names for siblings. Not too matchy for me, and yet there is a warm summery feeling in both of them.

[name]Rose[/name] is my favorite name, and I love it paired with [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Victoria[/name], and [name]Julia[/name]/[name]Juliette[/name]. I’m not a fan of [name]June[/name], however (I only think of [name]June[/name] Cleaver), but I do love [name]Jane[/name]!

Interesting pair as I’d say [name]Rose[/name] and [name]June[/name] are the two middle-names-of-the-moment. They do certainly make a compatible pair.

I have to agree with [name]Jill[/name]. [name]June[/name] and [name]Rose[/name] are cute, but [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Rose[/name] are magical

I love [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Jane[/name] way more than [name]Rose[/name] and [name]June[/name]. [name]Jane[/name] seems more A-list just like [name]Rose[/name].

[name]Rose[/name] [name]Amandine[/name] & [name]June[/name] [name]Amaryllis[/name]

[name]Rose[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] & [name]June[/name] [name]Daisy[/name]

Ooh, butterfly, I love [name]Rose[/name] [name]Amandine[/name] and [name]June[/name] [name]Amaryllis[/name]-- how gorgeous!
