[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I was wanting an opinion on [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a definite, and we’re nearly certain on [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. We are open to suggestions however. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is another option instead of [name_f]Irene[/name_f], but [name_f]Irene[/name_f] flows better imo. Any opinions appreciated
Firstly absolutely love [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is such a gorgeous flower name a beautiful name with a lovely vintage flair. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] feels so vintage and has a hipster cool vibe. Personally I do prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] I just think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] paired with a name that is longer works better. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] feels a little stunted. Ideally for me I prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f] with a middle name that ends in an ‘a’ I have [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] on my list I think having the longer ‘a’ ending name just works. Still both names are lovely and I think whichever one you choose [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] your onto a winner!
I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is a really pretty name and has a good flow. I do agree though with the previous poster about having a longer middle name eg. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a very short & sweet name so [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] sounds a bit more balanced to me. Either way though both names are beautiful and you can’t go wrong with either!!
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is beautiful-if you like the sounds but want even more of a flow, how about [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Eileen[/name_f]?
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is beautiful! I love both [name_f]Irene[/name_f] and Josephine, but I personally slightly prefer [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] ,but you really can‘t go wrong with either
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is unexpected and charming
Stunning !
I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]! And I do prefer [name_f]Irene[/name_f] over [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] with [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is much more upbeat than [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].
I like the flow of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]!
rose irene has better flow than rose josephine imo !! and it’s so pretty !!
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a beautiful name! [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is a lovely name, though I do agree it sounds a bit short when you say it together. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is also nice, but I feel the repeating o sounds don’t flow very well. I would go with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] as I feel its more unique and unexpected!
I prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]! It’s gorgeous and I think sounds better than [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] because the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_m]Jose[/name_m] rhyme which throws off the sounds a little. Also, I like that [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is less expected although [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is stunning too
I just came across a little problem with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. Her initials would spell RIP.
I do like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] quite a bit but [name_f]Irene[/name_f] looks better as [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] has the same starting letters. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] does sound better while [name_f]Irene[/name_f] looks better.
I should also probably clarify that where we’re from we don’t use middle names often therefore the RIP would likely be ignored. It’s only used on official documents not everyday life.
I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is really cool. Flow-wise, I do prefer [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] but I also find [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] very expected (probably wouldn’t have opened this thread had it been named [name_f]Rose[/name_f] Josephine) while [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is really interesting!
I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]! I think both names are wonderful and together they form a perfect combo. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is also nice, but I pereonally prefer [name_f]Irene[/name_f].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is lovely! Both names are soooo classy and elegant. It’s great to see [name_f]Irene[/name_f] getting some love! In this case, I do prefer [name_f]Irene[/name_f] to [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. I’m getting kind of tired of [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] even though I do like it, and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is a lot of “o” sound for me.
I don’t think RIP should be a dealbreaker if you really love the name. Her monogram would be RPI, and RIP’s not a bad or embarrassing word, just grim.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is lovely! I like the sound of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] better than [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] although both are lovely.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is lovely! I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first name, very sweet and underused as a first.
I personally feel like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] flows a bit better, but I still vastly prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is quite common where I live, and the combination of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] with [name_f]Irene[/name_f] really is fresh and interesting. The initials RIP wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me personally, as I don’t think of it as anything negative.
Good luck deciding!
I do like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] a lot, I just think it looks better on paper than [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] but [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] sounds a little bit better. Both are good however so no matter what I choose it’s a solid name.
