[name]Hi[/name] everyone, I recently posted about the name [name]Josephine[/name] (and was asking what everyone thought about [name]Alice[/name], [name]Violet[/name], and brothers for [name]Josephine[/name]). While I love those names a lot, my husband isn’t too sure yet (I’m still trying to convince him!). Two names that came up today were [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name], which we both like, but I can’t come up with any good middle names (I’m not very good at that, and he doesn’t like to think that far ahead). Since I got such great names for [name]Josephine[/name], I thought I would ask about these two names. What middle names do you think sound good with [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name]?
Thanks for replying to me! I love [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] too, though I still would like to use [name]Josephine[/name] some day. What I kind of don’t like about [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] is that neither one of them sounds good with [name]Josephine[/name] as a middle name (at least to me). Does anyone have any suggestions about a sibling for [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name] that could use [name]Josephine[/name] as a middle name?
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] (I absolutely love this combo! [name]Will[/name] definitely be sharing with my husband!)
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Miranda[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
I am butting in here:
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] (am I pronouncing [name]Blythe[/name] correctly - bl EYE th?)
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]
All three of these are gorgeous. I think you are pronouncing [name]Blythe[/name] correctly.
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] (I absolutely love this combo! [name]Will[/name] definitely be sharing with my husband!)
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Miranda[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
These are gorgeous, too! [name]Jill[/name] is amazing!
Awe, thanks, [name]Susan[/name]. These are two of my favorite names, so I can rattle off my favorite combos in my sleep.
To the original poster, yep, I think you’re pronouncing [name]Blythe[/name] correctly, with one syllable. The “eye” sound is correct. I just love [name]Blythe[/name]!
Sibling names for [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] with “[name]Josephine[/name]” in the middle? Let’s see:
Thank you [name]Susan[/name] and [name]Jill[/name] (I love all the combos that both of you come up with!)
I really like [name]Rose[/name] [name]Anastasia[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Fey[/name] (although I think I like the spelling [name]Fay[/name] more - or are they two different names?)
I also love [name]Alice[/name], [name]Cora[/name], [name]Celia[/name], and [name]Eliza[/name] with [name]Josephine[/name].
[name]Blythe[/name] is a very pretty name, I just wasn’t exactly sure of how to pronounce it, so thanks for letting me know.
Really, everyone’s suggestions have been great. Thanks!
[name]Fey[/name] and [name]Fay[/name] can be thought of as the same name.
[name]Faye[/name] can be a form of [name]Fay[/name] or [name]Faith[/name]. I got this info from Nameberry.
Think of the name “[name]Smith[/name],” and say it out loud. Now, pronounce it with a long I sound, like [name]Smythe[/name]. Now, take away the “SM” and replace it with a Bl to get [name]Blythe[/name].
