I voted for [name_f]Rose[/name_f] because I love the simplicity of it, but [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is stunning and offers a lot of depth to the name. Plus it could easily be nicknamed [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] or even [name_u]Lind[/name_u]/Lindy! So charming.
This is difficult! I think it depends on middle/last names. I think I love both equally, so I’m going to vote for [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] because it seems to be trailing at the moment.
I absolutely love [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]! It has so much going for it, and it can always be shortened to [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/Rosie if that fits her better.
I chose [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! I think as a name it’s very underrated! While [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is cute, I can’t help but love the simplicity of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] by itself
Totally agree! Depends on the middle.
I adore [name_f]Rose[/name_f], so 99/100 times it would win. I also really love [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] but through the UC pronunciation thread have noticed that there doesn’t seem to be an agreed-upon pronunciation (personally I say Rozz-a-lind, but have heard Rozz-lind, Rozz-a-lin, Rozz-lin, [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]-lind, [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-lind, [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]-lin, etc.) so I’m not sure if I would use it as a first name.
Rosalind and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] are to me a lot more interesting and either way can lead to [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a nn.
I love the elegant [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
