Roselind or Rosalind?

We are considering the name [name_f]Roselind[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] for our child, if it’s a girl. I much prefer the pronunciation without the z sound that comes with the [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] spelling, and think that the [name_f]Roselind[/name_f] spelling better indicates how I would say it. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the “e” spelling would be pronounced differently? [name_m]How[/name_m] would you say each spelling? In my head I hear:
[name_f]Roselind[/name_f] > [name_f]Roe[/name_f]-se-lind
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] > [name_f]Roz[/name_f]-a-lind or [name_m]Ross[/name_m]-a-lind
Am I making it more complicated than it is? [name_m]Will[/name_m] people always say it differently anyways?

Much prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] spelling personally! Beautiful name!

Much prefer the [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] spelling personally— however you want to pronounce it in my opinion likely won’t be an issue (or shouldn’t affect your decision!), even if other people mess up consistently! Best of luck!

I prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. [name_f]Roselind[/name_f] I would say [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-lind, and just doesn’t look very appealing in my opinion.

I much prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (which I have on my short list, btw). [name_f]Roselind[/name_f] looks a bit awkward to me and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is just more intuitive. [name_f]Roselind[/name_f] would be [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-[name_u]Lind[/name_u] to me and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is [name_f]Roz[/name_f]-a-lind or [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-a-lind.

Honestly, I would say them the same way - rose-uh-lind, so I think you should just stick with [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. Best of luck!

I prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], by far. I pronounce both names the same way but [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] looks better in my opinion.
