Rosemarie nn Remi?

Do you think [name_u]Remi[/name_u] would be a nice nn for [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f]?

I think it works, though I prefer [name_u]Romy[/name_u] for [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f].

It’s not the most obvious nickname but I think it works.

It’s not particularly intuitive for me. The sounds are all there but because the ‘ee’ sound in [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f] comes at the end, it coming at the start of [name_u]Remi[/name_u] throws me a bit.

Saying that, I’ve seen nicknames that are a greater stretch before.

Definitely works imo. I think it’s cute.

I prefer [name_u]Romy[/name_u], but [name_u]Remy[/name_u] definitely works!

I think itd work!

I think it could work

Oh my gosh, yes! I love it.

Not the first nn for [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] I could think of but it definitely works!

Rosemary nn [name_u]Remi[/name_u] works well
