Rosemary Charlotte or...???

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] has suddenly become a contender for our baby girl (of course there’s always a chance hubby will flip flop on it again). I like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] because it’s a botanical name, it’s not too popular, is classic and also has great nick name option (my favourite being [name_u]Romy[/name_u]).

My current favourite [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] combo is [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. What are you opinions on this name? Is it overly sweet or does the nick name [name_u]Romy[/name_u] help to freshen it up? Are there other middle name options you think would be better than [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]? Another one that I thought about was [name_f]Frances[/name_f].

Thanks for your help!!!

I like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], it sounds lovely! Yes, it is very sweet and frilly, but I think [name_u]Romy[/name_u] does make it more casual and less saccharine. Best of luck!

I like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], though it is quite sweet. The nn [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is adorable!
Some other combos I might consider, off the top of my head:
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]

[name_f]Happy[/name_f] naming!

[name_f]Happy[/name_f] naming!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] the suggestion of [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]!

I love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f]!

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] sounds beautiful. I like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] as well. I feel [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] would go well with many names. It’s a lovely name!

I think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is absolutely lovely! Go for it!

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is great but it is very girly. If you want less girly middle names you could try

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] (I think this one is so flipping cute)
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u]

But [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is a very beautiful name too

I think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is simply charming! And I love the nn [name_u]Romy[/name_u]. Definitely use it:)

Well I’m biased because my daughter’s name is [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and we call her [name_u]Romy[/name_u], but I think your combo is lovely!

[name_f]Do[/name_f] think of the full formal name and how it sounds to you though because even though we call our daughter [name_u]Romy[/name_u] she gets called [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosita[/name_f], Romester, etc. As you said, the name lends itself to nicknames galore!

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is beautiful on its own and I think you made a great choice regardless of what you call your sweet girl.

It’s great to hear of a little “[name_u]Romy[/name_u]”. I only know an older woman with the name. I do like the full [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], I just think that [name_u]Romy[/name_u] has a totally different feel and makes it a bit more youthful so I like the flexibility.

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] are both stunning! Can’t go wrong with either.
