Rosemary Florence — too floral?

I think it’s fine. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is well-established as a name and doesn’t feel ‘wordy’ or too floral and I feel the same way about [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- yes, it is technically floral but it’s also a name-name and a place name too. It’s not as ‘botanical’ in feel as say, [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] or [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f]?

(And for what it’s worth, I’ve met a number of girls called [name_f]Lily[/name_f] Rose/Lily Violet/Poppy Rose/Violet Rose/Lily [name_f]Florence[/name_f] etc. so it doesn’t feel odd)

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is slightly different in style than her sisters but that’s okay [name_f][/name_f]- she’ll be her own person after all, and nn [name_f]Romy[/name_f] bridges the gap.

Still, it sounds like you’re quite uncertain so I’d:

[name_f][/name_f]
    [name_f][/name_f]
  • keep considering other first names
  • [name_f][/name_f]
  • try out some more middles [name_f][/name_f]- I like @/tallemaja’s idea of a more contemporary choice!
