I think that [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] fits beautifully with [name_u]Ira[/name_u] and [name_f]Anouk[/name_f]- all those names have quite a gentle feel to them, in my opinion and they make a truly beautiful sibset. [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] would be lovely too, but I just personally prefer [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and how it sounds with your other children’s names. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] rolls so nicely off the tongue too, like [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] and [name_u]Ira[/name_u].

I personally think that [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is a perfect choice, but here are some suggestions anyway:
[name_f]Obelia[/name_f], [name_f]Odelia[/name_f] / [name_f]Odilia[/name_f], [name_f]Fenella[/name_f], [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f], [name_f]Ferebee[/name_f], [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f], [name_f]Ophira[/name_f], [name_f]Romilly[/name_f], [name_f]Eluned[/name_f], Laloun, Lalou, [name_f]Malou[/name_f], [name_f]Milou[/name_f], [name_f]Lilou[/name_f], [name_f]Adelpha[/name_f], [name_f]Delpha[/name_f], [name_f]Lucerne[/name_f], [name_f]Vevina[/name_f], [name_f]Villette[/name_f], [name_f]Madrigal[/name_f], [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Fabienne[/name_f], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Lileas[/name_f], Amabilis, [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], [name_f]Bibiana[/name_f], [name_f]Demelza[/name_f], [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f], [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f], [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f], [name_f]Petra[/name_f], [name_f]Thais[/name_f], [name_f]Eudora[/name_f], [name_f]Elula[/name_f], [name_f]Bettina[/name_f], [name_f]Bettine[/name_f], [name_f]Lilibet[/name_f], [name_f]Margalo[/name_f], [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f], [name_f]Liesel[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f].

Thank you for your thoughtful input! A lot of the names you’ve suggested are names I like… for instance [name_f]Ottilia[/name_f], [name_f]Lilou[/name_f] (although I think it would be too matchy in sound with An0uk), [name_f]Opal[/name_f] (I had considered as a possible 2nd middle name), [name_f]Thais[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]. I just don’t see any of them as a first name for my baby. I think I’m waiting for an epiphany or something, like it happened with the other two.

I like just Zouzou and [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] more with A.nouk and I.ra actually…
Both [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] are gorgeous, but they’re 5 letters longer than [name_u]Ira[/name_u] which would be a no-go for me… I would love them as middles a la [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f] though!

[name_f]Leonor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] would be my pick if I had to use a formal name for [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] with the siblings, she has that same offbeat, streamlined look, whereas [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] is practically frilly by comparison. Something like [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]?
[name_f]Zosia[/name_f] would be a nice fit for Zouzou. Maybe [name_f]Zosia[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] [name_f]Leontine[/name_f]?

Other suggestions
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f] or [name_f]Hettie[/name_f])
[name_f]Sigrid[/name_f] / [name_f]Siri[/name_f] / [name_f]Signe[/name_f]

Thank you dearest for your insight! i see what you mean about the length of the names. That hadn’t really posed as a problem to me as what really matters is that I can envision my child bearing the perfect name… I think once I have a first name I’ll be able to concentrate better on finding middle names.

I love your suggestions of [name_f]Leonor[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Margo[/name_f], [name_f]Zelda[/name_f], [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Thisbe[/name_f]. In fact, I was even playing around with [name_f]Thisbe[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] for a middle name. [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] is a name I really love but I think would have to remain a guilty pleasure. I’m a huge fan of the actress [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Green[/name_u] who played [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] in “Casino [name_m]Royale[/name_m]”. She’s the only [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] I’ve ever heard of so…

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Green[/name_u] is gorgeous and insanely talented. Have you seen her work on [name_u]Penny[/name_u] Dreadful? She is absolutely astonishing! Also remember vividly the film ‘Cracks’, which you might also have seen?

She’s a wonderful woman, I see nothing wrong with actually using the name [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] as a nod to her. (Brangelina used the surname of a favourite architect for their child, so why can’t anyone?)
[name_u]Vesper[/name_u] would make a great fit with A.nouk and I.ra.

I’m glad you like some of my suggestions
Best of luck finding the name you love most!
As a side note, I would choose [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] over [name_f]Leontine[/name_f], Zouzou is more fun, and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is only two syllables despite all her letters, so she feels a little shorter.

(Also, (and this is super-strange) I think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is a better fit with I.ra and A.nouk because you don’t have to change the shape of your mouth so much to say them all. You can keep approximately the same oval shape through all three, but [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] is so different with her -ee- sound, you have to stretch your mouth like a smile to say it…)

Goodness stop it! You have me gushing and fan-girling over [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Green[/name_u]! And yes, I have seen Cracks (wonderful film) and I’m currently obsessed with [name_u]Penny[/name_u] Dreadful.

That thing you said about the shape of the mouth is something that never occurred to me! Ha! I do love Zouzou, because I’m a huge fan of vintage films and music and I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_m]Baker[/name_m] to pieces (her first and most famous movie character was a circus-child named Zouzou). I was thinking that even if I did go with [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] I would try to incorporate Zouzou somehow. I love it and this is basically my last chance. No more babies after this one.

And you’ve convinced me to give [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] greater thought!

I like both full names but only Leonie as a nickname, Zouzou does nothing for me. I still voted for Rosemary, though, as I do prefer the full name to Leontine.
From your signature I would adore Ottilia (something like Ottilia Marguerite Plum or Ottilia Zouzou Plum) with I ra and A nouk, they would be beyond gorgeous. I think you’ve got quite the list of suggestions and I can’t think of any to contribute at the moment, so I’ll leave it at that

[name_f]Ottilia[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] and [name_f]Ottilia[/name_f] Zouzou [name_f]Plum[/name_f] are indeed brilliant and lovely. Thank you for your help!

I barely think you can call it help but if I think of any more names, I’ll post them here
(Oh and I’ve gotten your signature on the “which would you choose” thread a while back and fell in love with the idea of [name_f]Ottilia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], I’m generally not a huge [name_f]Plum[/name_f] fan but I love it paired with [name_f]Ottilia[/name_f])

I would move [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] or [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] to the mn position as I think there are better firsts with your sibset. I like [name_f]Zosia[/name_f], [name_f]Thais[/name_f], or [name_f]Thisbe[/name_f] quite a bit as alternative fns.

Some more possibilities:

[name_u]Ira[/name_u], [name_f]Anouk[/name_f], and

What lovely names, [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Leontine[/name_f]!

I like [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] even better than [name_f]Leontine[/name_f], so that is a great choice. I like [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] [name_f]Madelief[/name_f].

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is a particular favorite, though I don’t care much for Zouzou. I actually prefer [name_u]Romy[/name_u] as a nickname.

I also like the sound of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Leontine[/name_f].

Great choices.

Of the two, I prefer [name_f]Leontine[/name_f], however, I do like Zouzou as a nickname. I’d think that something like [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] Zouzou [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] would be great, and a compromise of sorts, so as to get the best of both worlds.
