Rosemary is beautiful, because it’s both a vintage, classic choice but it’s also a bit more fun and unexpected. I’m sure your daughter hasn’t met many other Rosemarys! Now, of course something like Daniel still works with Rosemary, but I think the classic but a bit more unique Raphael is a better stylistic match!
Are you looking for suggestions or are you decided on these four?
From your list I absolutely love [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] it’s such a handsome. [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] is a lovely underused biblical name that feels familiar and distinctive which to me has a similar vibe to [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. I’m also a sucker for alliteration [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] is such a sweet pairing that visually looks so handsome also a little JJ would be cute
Your whole list is stunning though! We definitely have a similar taste in names. I think for me it’s just [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] feels extra sparkly. [name_f]My[/name_f] only concern with [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] is that you could limit yourself using another R name if you were to be blessed with more children as I tend to find sibling sets with two R names then a random K name for example a bit visually odd.
I think, because I grew up in the predominantly Irish Northeast, that [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] works the best with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] (every [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] I ever knew was Irish).
The Rosemarys I know have brothers [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], [name_u]Daniel[/name_u], and [name_m]Graham[/name_m]! I love [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] with Rosemary; they make a very cozy pairing I think.
Something like [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] might be nice too!
I love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] together! They both have sweet, gentle sounds and imagery for me, so they pair really well as sibling names. And I also really like [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] as a combo.
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m] is a bit more romantic and European in feel, which doesn’t match Rosemary’s vintage, [name_f]English[/name_f] vibe. [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] and [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], while fine, both feel a little overused to me; plus, they don’t flow as well with the mn [name_u]Joseph[/name_u].
I agree, [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] and [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] are my favorites for this sibset. Though, I think that whichever name you choose between these two could lead to two very different sibsets, because [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] sound more gentle and classic together, while [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] sound more artistic and romantic. Either way, they both go wonderfully with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
Personally, I like [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] the most. It’s a very sweet name and pairs well with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. Another sweet boys name is [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] nn [name_u]Sammy[/name_u]. [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] & [name_u]Sammy[/name_u] is such a cute sibset. I’m sure whatever name you end up choosing will fit him perfectly, and will be absolutely adorable with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u]! Unless this feels like it’s locking you into an R theme. I just feel like [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] has that special spark-meets-classic-name vibe that [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] does. I think [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] would be my runner up.
