Long story short, I’m revamping my UC to match my style more. I feel like my boys list is more inconsistent than my girls list though.

Please share your thoughts on the names! I’d also appreciate more suggestions and combos!

I love this list! [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is an all-time favourite, and [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] and [name_u]Forest[/name_u] are beautiful - I love a nature-inspired boys’ name, although I think [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] and [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] probably are best suited to the middle spot.
Getting kinda tired of
I had exactly the same experience with [name_u]Julian[/name_u] - it was a favourite, and then it just went… flat. I am a big fan of [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] though; sweet, bright, charming little name.

I’ve already said it but I’ll say it again: [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is gorgeous, to my mind the perfect boys name; strong, sweet and familiar without being insanely popular.

Adrian - Classic name with a melodic sound. Paired with a more contemporary middle, it could liven it up quite nicely.

Alistair - Stately classic.

Atlas - Love love love this name! It’s such an adaptable name, can work well on the stately individual as well as the spunky/artistic individual. It just has that high class sound (similar to Atticus but nicer) paired with mythological/historical flair.

Florian - A beauty! Timeless. Rare. Has nature charm. Fresh take and great alt for Julian.

Hugo - Strong & timeless. The O ending will always be in vogue, it modernises the old “Hugh”.

Lucian/Lucien - I prefer both pronounces, but Loo-shun moreso (because of the St Lucia similarity). It’s so breezy yet stately.

Ronan - Warm and charming yet still fresh.

Theo - So cute. Would need a strong middle to give it some balance. Theo Vreeland, Theo Cerulean (pr Sir-roo-li-un), Theo Canyon etc

Emrys - I love this name so much, for the same reasons I love Emory/Emery and Ezra. It has such literary flair and sophistication, it’s intriguing, has a nice balance of softness and strength and is a rarity. A true gem.

Darcy - So sophisticated and also has literary flair. Paired with a spunky name it could liven up this classic.

Todd - Not a particularly nice sound.

Archer - I really like this name. It’s strong and whimsical. Veers on “too trendy/overused” but it’s such a mainstay.

Dion & Rory - Nice. Doesn’t necessarily make a statement but it’s ok.

Jameson - Brings a nice stately, ultra masculine quality to the James name.

Lawrence & Nathan - Ok, but tired. They need a bold, cool name to liven it up.

Aurelian - I love both pronunciations (au-ray-li-un and au-ree-li-un, probably the former a bit more). Gorgeous meaning too (golden). Timeless, strong beauty of a name. I put this in the catergory of Viridien and Cerulean, it’s such a statement name. Great alternative to Julian.

Cedar - A longtime member of my list. Love the autumnal vibe. It’s so stately and masculine,

Eden - Gorgeous. Timeless. Warm.

Felix - X ending gives it modern flair.

Forest - A forever classic. The ultimate nature name.

Fox - Cute.

Hawthorne - Absolutely gorgeous and a great alt for forest of you want something more rare.

Quinn - So preppy. It’s definitely become super trendy, might need a revamp by pairing it with a rare name or using names with a similar sound. Wynn is definitely gaining traction.

Vincent - Stately. Timeless.

Viridian - OMG I just wrote this above (alt spelling). Gorgeous, such a statement, vibrant name. Gotta love a strong colour name like this, Cerulean and Ochre.

I can see why you’re tired of Julian. As beautiful as it is, it’s lost its modern freshness. Aurelian, Florian, Stellan and even Ronan are great alts with that lovely N ending.

Stellan is so stunning. Beautiful galaxy inspired name. So strong yet has a softness to it. I think the fact that it’s underused works well for the name, gives it edge.

Rhys - A classic, but yes very tired. Although paired with Stellan is quite pretty, Rhys Stellan/Stellan Rhys. Could even work for a girl, if you’re bored of these names on a boy.

I like the balance and the magical feel of [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_u]Viridian[/name_u]!
Similarly to [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_u]Viridian[/name_u], I love how [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] is classic (even though underused) and [name_u]Forest[/name_u] is more modern and can feel magical when paired with the right name. [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] [name_u]Forest[/name_u] gives me very green academia and a bit magical vibes!
