I adore the name [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], and always have. However, OH is not so keen. He said he would like a girls name that begins with R (but not [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f]). Are there any other names that are in the style of [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] OR that begin with R? OH loves; [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. I love; [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Lottie[/name_f].
Surname is Irish, starts with an M and has lots of 'o’s and 'l’s. Thank you in advance!
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] or [name_f]Rubie[/name_f] is my first thought because it fits both your criteria.
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] or [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] would be my other R suggestions. You could use them as a middle name if that would be a compromise.
Or just use a combo using names from both your lists eg. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
It seems like you both have very specific names that you like and dislike even though they are in a similar style so I can’t really suggest particular names. Your style does overlap quite a lot although you lean more towards the English top 100. I would suggest for you to both look at it and each tick off the names you like and see where there are similarities.
It doesn’t start with “R”, but I adore the name [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] with [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] as a nickname! You guys might like it since you like other flower names- [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is beautiful :).
For “R” names, I love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f]. As far as [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names go, there’s a lot out there- [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f], [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f], etc.
[name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is one I didn’t see mentioned. I pronounce it rose-uh-line (rhymes with fine, nine, wine, dine, etc.), though I know that a lot of people pronounce it roz-lynn or roz-uh-lynn. Also [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. It’s not an obvious choice, but it definitely could work! [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is the only nickname I like for [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], actually
[name_f]Roisin[/name_f]!!! I highly recommend this name, I know a beautiful person with this name and an Irish last name.
You can even call her [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] for short.
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] called [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Meg[/name_f], [name_f]Meggie[/name_f], or [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f] called [name_u]Fran[/name_u], [name_f]Francie[/name_f], [name_u]Frannie[/name_u], or [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] called [name_f]Dottie[/name_f], [name_f]Dolly[/name_f], or [name_f]Doe[/name_f]
