Rowan Luca or Breccan Luca?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], everyone. We’ve got it down to two names for our second boy, arriving Nov. 29. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] or [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u]? Brother is [name_m]Kyler[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].I LOVED [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], but hubby spent the last five months telling me no, and now he’s come around. In the meantime, I fell in love with [name_m]Breccan[/name_m], too. I’m torn. Help!

You said lov[name_m]ED[/name_m]. So does that mean it’s over for [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]? Have you moved on to [name_m]Breccan[/name_m]? [name_m]Both[/name_m] are handsome names. I personally like [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] better with [name_m]Kyler[/name_m]. Good luck!

I still love it but am in disbelief because my husband was SO opposed to it. Our nursery theme is whales and boats, so boats and “[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]” was holding him up. I thought there was no way he would budge, so I was starting to let it go. Thanks for your advice!

Okay, well if you and your husband love it, then it’s perfect  Good luck!
BTW, your nursery sounds adorable!

I prefer [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Luca[/name_u].

Are you expecting red hair and freckles?

I like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] better because [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] has twice the harsh c/k sound. But both are nice. Actually [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] is visually more handsome, imo.

There’s also [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]? Then he could be your little seal amongst the whales and boats.

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] sounds better and I like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] much better than [name_m]Breccan[/name_m]. As emsky says in her previous post, the repetitive c/k sounds of the combo [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] aren’t ideal.

Thanks, everyone!

[name_m]Both[/name_m] are nice, but I like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] better. Good luck!
