Rowan?

[name]How[/name] many little boys do you know named [name]Rowan[/name]?

I have met only one, but I have met 3-4 girls named [name]Rowan[/name]. Hate it when that happens to a good boys name.

I’m from the UK and know of one little boy and one little girl named [name]Rowan[/name]!

[name]Rowan[/name] is my daughter’s middle name, but she’s met a few boy Rowans too.

I’ve never actually met any children named [name]Rowan[/name] but if you’re concerned about the name going to the girls, as of the last name rankings, [name]Rowan[/name] is steadily climbing for boys while for girls it’s gone down for the past two years. (At least in the US. Not sure where you’re located)

I live in the U.S and never have met a [name]Rowan[/name], boy or girl…

My friend has a baby named [name]Rowan[/name]. He is almost 1. He is an adorable ginger!

Never met anyone with the first name, but one of my professors is Dr [name]Rowan[/name] so I think of it as masculine

It doesn’t sound at all feminine so unless it’s a family name I don’t see why people like it for girls

I haven’t met anyone named [name]Rowan[/name], personally, although I do know a professor at my former university has a son named [name]Rowan[/name]. I think it’s very handsome!

I know 2 adult male Rowans. Great name.

I know one little boy called [name]Rowan[/name], though he spells it [name]Roan[/name].

It’s on my list! I think it’s a great boys name. And I’ve never met any Rowans of either gender in real life.

I have an 8 week old [name]Rowan[/name], so I clearly like the name. We didn’t know the sex of the baby and chose it because it worked well for any gender. I also know two little boys named [name]Rowan[/name] and an adult woman. And there’s also the Archbishop of I-can’t-remember-what who everyone asks if our [name]Rowan[/name] is named after.

Also, [name]Rowan[/name] isn’t a boys’ name that’s recently gone to the girls. It has a long history of use for both men and women.

I only know one [name]Rowan[/name], who is a young woman. But we are using it for our baby whether a boy or girl, due [name]July[/name] 9! [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Frost[/name].

[name]Rowan[/name] is my favorite GIRLS name

My daughter is named [name]Rowan[/name]. My friend told me there is a little boy [name]Rowan[/name] in her son’s daycare and my pediatrician’s daughter is named [name]Rowan[/name], she is around 5. I love the name, on a boy or girl. And for the whole “stealing a good boy’s name” argument, if you would actually read the history of the name [name]Rowan[/name] it has been used equally on females and males throughout history, so I don’t consider it a boy name. It is truly unisex.
