[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is about to become super popular/trendy? Really want to use it if this little bean is a boy, but I’m worried!

I think in general Irish names are somewhat popular but I still think [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is a great name and useable. It’s not too popular for me (and I’m somewhat picky about popularity). I say use it!

I love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]/[name_u]Roan[/name_u] for a boy. I am not sure about popularity. I would not say it is trendy for boys but I do not know the rules of trendy.

I love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and I love it on a boy. I know a teen boy named [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. I don’t think it’s very popular or very popular for boys. Use it!

I don’t think it’s trendy or popular at all, I’ve never met one, I think of [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] Atkinson who I like so it’s not a bad association at all.

I love it, and I don’t think its too trendy/popular to use either.

Thanks everybody! [name_m]Just[/name_m] looked out up on social security, and I’m surprised it’s only 301. Still probably growing, but nowhere near the top 50. Maybe it seems so popular because Berries love it? Or because I know a little girl named [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]?

[name_f]Love[/name_f] it and doesn’t seem trendy to me! I’ve never met any [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]'s. :slight_smile: I also prefer it for a boy.

I’ve yet to meet a [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], although I do love it on a boy.

I actually just posted on the bump what gender everyone though of when they heard [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] or [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. Unless I am just noticing it more now since I got on my maybe list yesterday (actually already took it off though), but I feel like I have seen the name mentioned a lot. It feel to girly to me though.

It has been increasing a lot on both genders (in the US at least). The unisex-ness of it might prevent it from becoming one of the top 20 names for boys, but it is definitely becoming more popular.

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is one of my absolute favourite names and I only like it on a boy, it’s all boy to me.
