Rowena / Hannelore Combos

Okay… I’ve been working on this for ages, here’s my list of combos inspired by our family names:
[name]Rowena[/name] [name]Cristal[/name] (my mom) and [name]Helga[/name] [name]Hannelore[/name] (his late mother).
I’ve also used [name]Kate[/name] which is my grandmother’s middle name and Feminine variations of [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Raymond[/name] which are his father and my grandfather. I welcome all of your thoughts and opinions, but as these are all family names (or variations thereof) and mean something to me, please don’t be outright insulting.

Loreh [name]Rowen[/name] - I didn’t want to shorten [name]Rowena[/name] to [name]Rowen[/name]… but this is pretty cute.
[name]Rowena[/name] [name]Lorelai[/name] - My absolute favorite. He likes it. I like it. My mom LOVES it. But i’m thinking it might have too many syllables.
[name]Rowena[/name] Loreh - His absolute favorite. I’m not sure i like the [name]AH[/name] sounds at the ends of both names.
[name]Hannah[/name] [name]Kate[/name] [name]Rowena[/name] (or [name]Hannah[/name]-[name]Kate[/name] [name]Rowena[/name]?) - idk about this one. My sister suggested it. It’s cute, but… i don’t know.
[name]Crista[/name] [name]Hannelore[/name] - I don’t want to use [name]Cristal[/name] (largely because most people mispronunce and make fun of it) but I like [name]Crista[/name].
[name]Rowena[/name] [name]Jacklyn[/name] - My second favorite.
[name]Hannah[/name] [name]Rae[/name] - it’s sweet and cute, but it might have too much of a [name]Miley[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name]/[name]Hannah[/name] [name]Montana[/name] vibe and i’m not cool with that.
[name]Rhea[/name] [name]Hannelore[/name] - again with too much [name]AH[/name] sound.
Loreh [name]Jacklyn[/name] - his second favorite, he actually likes this one a lot since it uses both his parents names.
Loreh [name]Rowen[/name] - I didn’t want to shorten [name]Rowena[/name] to [name]Rowen[/name]… but this is pretty cute.
[name]Rhea[/name] [name]Jacklyn[/name]

Please feel free to comment on these and/or throw out more suggestions using these names because we’re not pregnant yet so totally not committed to any of these, it’s just something we’ve been discussing a lot lately… we know that we want an AMAZING name for our future child.

I [name]LOVE[/name] Loreh [name]Rowen[/name] (I’d preferred it spelled [name]Lore[/name] [name]Rowen[/name], it looks cleaner), it’s so cute and spunky!
[name]Rowena[/name] [name]Lorelai[/name] is my second favourite, it’s really beautiful. I don’t think there’s too many syllables, it works well. My third favourite is [name]Crista[/name] [name]Hannelore[/name], it’s very nice too. I like [name]Hannelore[/name] much more than [name]Crista[/name], thag.t’s the only thing. Kristel [name]Hannelore[/name] would be amazing.

I actually think most of your names work, Loreh [name]Jacklyn[/name] & [name]Rowena[/name] [name]Jacklyn[/name] both sounds nice and are easy to say.

aw. Thanks for your opinions. I liked the spelling [name]Lore[/name] too but I was actually using his mother’s nickname there and she spelled it Loreh which i think is really pretty and unexpected. I do agree that Kristel [name]Hannelore[/name] is amazing and beautiful. I don’t want to be stuck in an eternal debate about the spelling of [name]Cristal[/name], Kristel, [name]Krystal[/name], [name]Chrystal[/name], etc etc… The name [name]Crystal[/name] in and of itself is dated. I know that. Most people HATE the spelling [name]Cristal[/name]…
Although I could justify starting it with a K to honor both my mom and my grandmom, I just don’t know.
In any case, it’s a gorgeous suggestion and Kristel [name]Hannelore[/name] is going on my list too.

[name]Rowena[/name] [name]Lorelai[/name] is beautiful!!! I don’t think it’s too many syllables at all!!

Thank you. [name]Rowena[/name] [name]Lorelai[/name] is still my favorite but i’m also adding [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Lorelai[/name] and [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Jacklyn[/name] to my list.
Although i want to honor my mother, and her name [name]Rowena[/name] is my absolute favorite name of all time, I love the names that come from his side of the family.

I encourage you to use [name]Rowena[/name] [name]Lorelai[/name] - it’s stunning! [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Lorelai[/name] is also pretty.
