Pretty much that. I’ve recently fell in love with this name and was wondering what folks thoughts are.
[name_f]Adore[/name_f] it madly! Want to have a brown-red dog (cattle dog) and name her [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f] and call her [name_u]Romy[/name_u]. Bizarrely underused glorious name.
Amazing! I it so much.
It’s gorgeous!
I like it!
big yes
[name_f]Rowena[/name_f] is witchy and cool. I like it
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it
I love [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]! It’s a gorgeous name and I think of the witch [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] from Supernatural, which is a cool association.
Absolutely love it! The only reason it isn’t near the top of my list is because I also prefer [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] (on a boy, easily top 3-5 for me right now) to [name_f]Rowena[/name_f], but it’s a stunning and elegant name nonetheless. I don’t actually get witchy vibes from it myself, more like historical/nobility vibes.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! Feels ancient and mystical.
LOVE it! I’d use it in a heartbeat if I ever go SO on board!
I love [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] so much, I love the nicknames [name_f]Ro[/name_f] , [name_u]Rue[/name_u] and [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] with this name!!
I love it. I’ve come across 2 pronunciations though - Ro-ween-ah and Ro-wenn-ah. I like both so it wouldn’t worry me.
[name_f]Rowena[/name_f] is one of my favorite names of all time! I’m so glad to see someone who loves it! I think it sounds so magical and pretty!
Wow! I wasn’t expecting such a fully positive response I thought it would be a bit more of a marmite name. Thankyou
I really like [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] ! I think it jazzes up [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
I’m quite fond of it when it’s pronounced “Row-en-uh,” but I’m not keen on “Ro-ween-uh.”
I like both (I’d spell the other way Rowenna), but I prefer the strong e sound of [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]. O totally understand why that’s exactly why some people would prefer the other way though.
I’m quite fond of the name. I love the nn [name]Rue[/name_f], and [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] Ravenclaw is a lovely namesake.
