I’m working on a story and am still indecisive about two characters in my story.
Time period don’t matter but I just need names that you think would fit the description below.
Both boys are in a royal family with the last name Wolfe
Character #1: 17-year-old boy with blonde hair and slate gray eyes. Crown [name_m]Prince[/name_m]. He is popular with the girls because of his charisma and status. However, he is able to handle his position well and has played a huge role on many occasions.
Names I have considered: [name_m]Landon[/name_m], [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m]
Character #2: 16-year-old boy with golden blonde hair and slate gray eyes. Is often teased by his older brother [name_m]Landon[/name_m]. He broods a lot and is behaves in a savage way to keep others away. However, he is fiercely loyal to his friends.
Names I have considered: [name_m]Jaron[/name_m], [name_u]Asa[/name_u]
[name_m]Landon[/name_m] and [name_m]Jaron[/name_m] has been my original sibset because both sounded rather pretentious. But I don’t think it fits them. [name_m]How[/name_m] does [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u] sound? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any other suggestions?
For the first boy, I think the name [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] could fit well enough, but the fact that it means “emperor” just seems kind of obvious. [name_m]Landon[/name_m] sounds kind of common to me, not at all like royalty.
For boy #2, I really like your original choice of [name_m]Jaron[/name_m]. It sounds unique, and I could see it being used for a young prince. I love [name_u]Asa[/name_u] personally, but it just strikes me as too soft and calm of a name for this character. It’s not a name I would pin on a “broody” person.

[name_m]Ronan[/name_m] - I think this would be good for #2 as its a deep, strong voice that I think would go good with the character.

A few of these are definitely Shakespearean if you like that.

[name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] meaning emperor and [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] meaning prince.
[name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] is a title, so I doubt any royals would use it. [name_u]Asa[/name_u] could work though.

I think royal families tend to use not pretentious but more classic names, so I’d recommend sticking to them. Good luck!
