Ruby, Anya, Saskia or Stella?

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] would be the most matchy and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] match well too but for a personal vote of which name I like best, [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] is so spunky and I adore her.

None of these names really jumps out at me but they all do all go well with [name_f]Iris[/name_f] (which is beautiful btw). If I had to choose I’d probably go with [name_f]Anya[/name_f] or [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], they feel more distinctive. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] are kind of bleh to me, probably because they’re sort of oversaturated on this website.

[name_f]Anya[/name_f] would be my first choice, followed by [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. Think about how it’s sounds when you introduce your kids “this is [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Anya[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]”. Both of those sound great together!

Also, how is [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] pronounced? The way I pronounced it in my head is similar to Swastika…just without the “w” or “t” sounds. I’m in the US and probably saying it wrong, but that could be something to consider.

It would be pronounced Sas-kee-a so I don’t associate it with swastika at all, that may just be me though…

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]! [name_f]Iris[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]!

Firstly, I think any of your four options go beautifully with big sister [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. I adore [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] (unfortunately it’s far too S heavy with my surname to use), and I really like both [name_f]Anya[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] isn’t for me, but it’s a nice name all the same.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a sending baby? I like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f]!

@prairiekeeper it should read second!

First of all, we have really similar taste in names! [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is beautiful. I really like [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] and [name_f]Anya[/name_f], as someone else said, they feel more distintictive. My personal favourite with [name_f]Iris[/name_f] would be [name_f]Anya[/name_f].

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] go together the best, but my favourite is [name_f]Saskia[/name_f]. I love how international and chic [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] sounds.

I like [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] the best, personally, but I agree that [name_f]Iris[/name_f] & [name_f]Anya[/name_f] sounds lovely.

Duh I should have figured that out! Thanks so much!

[name_f]Anya[/name_f]!! I love it with [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is my second favorite, but I don’t much care for the other two.

With [name_f]Iris[/name_f],[my favorite is [name_f]Ruby[/name_f]. I like the 2 syllable, 4 letter symmetry and the fact they share none of the same sounds. For those reasons, [name_f]Anya[/name_f] would be my second choice.

I love [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], and like [name_f]Anya[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. With [name_f]Iris[/name_f] the clear favourite is [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

I love [name_f]Iris[/name_f], I think [name_f]Anya[/name_f] complements is very well

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] are my personal favorites. [name_f]Anya[/name_f] sounds best with [name_f]Iris[/name_f] though. My vote is for [name_f]Anya[/name_f]

Thank you all for your comments-though it seems everyone is as torn as I am!

My priority isn’t for it to match [name_f]Iris[/name_f] as such, I just want the best name for her.

If anyone has any other suggestions I’m all ears!!

I like them all! My favourite is [name_f]Anya[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], then [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. I think they all sound great with [name_f]Iris[/name_f].
