[name]Morning[/name] berries! So I have a newborn named Eloise Ruby, and I love it! Ruby has a LOT of meaning to me (not named after anyone, just great ties and associations) but am finding it a little bit hard to say as a combo. Thinking of either leaving it as is, possibly adding another mn like Jane, or changing the mn to Pearl (no special meaning, but it’s a cute old fashioned nature name) My instincts are telling me to just leave it as I don’t say the fn and mn together often. I love the spunky sassy feel of Ruby, it really is my favorite. Just worried about the flow. Thanks!

[name]Hi[/name]! yeah, I was trying to change the title to also include names for the future that I liked, but then it all got messed up looking and confusing, lol. The main title stayed the same and the subtitle was totally different. So decided to just stick with what the title is asking, haha. But yeah, I really like [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] for possible future girl names! 
It was between that or [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Pearl[/name].

haha, yep! Ok, so you agree that the flow is a little bit off? I thought it was just me, but hmm, I do like [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Jane[/name]…my other children only have one mn though and I think the process is the same to add a middle name as to change a middle name? Still, would make an easier transition to just add another mn. I think [name]Pearl[/name] has a really nice flow, so that’s still an option. [name]Amelia[/name] was another option for her mn. so the more I think it about, makes sense to either just leave things as is (I do really love it, very meaningful to me!) or add another mn, like [name]Jane[/name], to the end for flow. [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] is who she is, I just adore it and also want to make things as easy as possible. But I would entertain the option of possibly adding another mn

Aw, thank you! I agree, the combo is adorable and meaningful. Sounds charming and special to me. [name]Eloise[/name] is a hard one to find a mn for but [name]Ruby[/name] works well. I was looking for a nature + old fashioned + spunky with charm + meaningful to me name for the mn spot, haha. So lots of requirements there. The fact that ruby is also a color was a big bonus too.
Keep [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] - it flows nicely! I think adding [name]Jane[/name] to it is nice, but unnecessary, especially since your other children have one mn.
Use [name]Jane[/name] for the next daughter, should you have more!
I really like the flow of [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] - I guess it depends on your surname. [name]Ruby[/name] is meaningful and you love it- so if you had to then adding another name would be the best.
I agree with the others–I think you’re probably overthinking it. I don’t know your surname, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Ruby[/name], it’s very pretty and flows well. [name]Jane[/name] is a lovely name, but I agree with a pp–I think [name]Jane[/name] takes away from the spunky beauty of [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Ruby[/name].
Have you thought of inverting the names?

Yes, definitely over thinking, haha. I really do love the combo. I wouldn’t switch them for the world though because I just adore the name [name]Eloise[/name] ;). The name [name]Ruby[/name] is just a tad uncomfortable for me to say “all the time” for some reason, so that plus flow was getting me down a bit. But I do feel better now! I don’t think I should change it? I mean, I enjoy the sentiment behind the name ruby (for me) and I would miss that if I gave it up. And I would be hard pressed to find another old fashioned nature name with that much spirit! Ooh, and the combo sounds fine with my last name, so no issues there. Leaning towards keeping it as is

Aww thank you! Gonna see, but I should probably keep things the way they are. My hubby agrees but it is soooo very helpful to hear the same from you girls because…I just trust your opinions way more! He doesn’t really “know” names.

I think the little girl behind the name makes me love it even more though, hehe. She’s such a sweetheart. Now off to be up all night as she is not the best sleeper as of yet! Lol
